One addition
Wesley Unseld and Elvin Hayes were one of the first combos of inside players. I don't have their stats handy, but they played together for several years (in the 70's) on the Baltimore Bullets and their teams did well.

Good one, Wes was a beast inside and Elvin had a multitude of options. His signiture move was a turn around jumpshot and was quite effictive.

I think the best tandoms when you think about it bought differnt skills. Elvin could run the lanes also. Wes was one of the best outlet passers of all times. he was slow, but his two handed outlet were the incredible. This has become a lost art. He could flick the ball like it was nothing!

Worthy - Kareem?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

nixluva - you are a machine.

Hey I'm just keepin the faith man

All I keep reading is a lot of "fear" propaganda being delivered by guys like Isola. Would he rather we keep Frye than to try and add a guy that is clearly on another level? It's gonna be up to Isiah and the Coaching staff to work with this team and make it all work. Remember at the beginning of the year last year, there were a few of us who felt Curry could improve and he did. Isiah got him to the point where he was confident and that's all he needed. He got thru to Steph and before Q, Lee and Jamal got hurt, all of them were doing well. Balkman and Mardy were able to step in and contribute and this after Mardy looked lost. The team was getting better as the year went along last year. It wasn't a big turnaround, but it was gradual and consistent. Obviously if Isiah wasn't getting thru to these guys they couldn't have progressed as they did.

I know i'm not the typical poster, but I'm just looking at the signs that aren't always so obvious and I see rays of hope. I see the bad, but that's not the whole story as some would have us believe. I'm like that Doctor that feels the faint pulse when everyone else thinks the patient is dead.

it seems that isola and the knicks had some sort of falling out. 2 seasons ago, it seemed like his only olive branch was quentin. and now it doesn't seem like he has any connections. so he may feel slighted by the organization and reading his articles all of last season, it's not a far stretch to think he's pushing the "hater" agenda. berman is pushing a pure "marbury" agenda as it seems that's his only link to the team. and both isola and berman take snide shots at each other.

It's funny Cuz Isola had some really good things to say on NBA TV when I caught him last season. I remember being surprised at his take on the team. Lately he's been taking shots and I really don't get it. The team is clearly improved and we still have Lee. That is a major plus in all of this. Our Big man rotation is gonna be awesome. When you look at last year Frye was one of the most frustrating parts of the poor finish. It was clear that he was the guy we needed to step up and he couldn't do it. I think it's mostly in his head and partly due to Isiah not focusing on him. Still there's no reason why he should've hesistated and even worse, pass up so many open shots. We needed him, but he was all messed up.

Clearly Isiah wants a guy that isn't afraid to take the shot and who will get in there and fight for that rebound. You would think Isola would recognize how big that can be for this team. Now it won't be Frye not taking those shots. It's gonna be Zach who's all to happy to take an open shot.

Chamberlain and Chet the Jet Walker won a title together. Luke Jackson was another beast on that front line.

Because the point is to proove that two offensive 4/5 players can work well together.

The game is to show that players like Coleman, Jamison, Webber, J. Howard type players could play together and win.
