Watching the Minny game right now... looks like a Sunday game at the YMCA... actually its not that good.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

back to bellinelli for a second, now you see why they dumped jrich's contract.

nellie, in one year, has corrected (at least for the time being) all of mullin's mistakes (extensions to jrich + troy + dunleavy).

They have done a good job of getting rid of their bad contracts and with Belinelli, Bendrins, Wright, and Ellis, they have some very good young players to continue to build their team. Golden State should be a fixture in the playoffs as long as Nellie is the coach. Damn Belinelli looks like exactly what this team needed.

What are you talking about? We didn't need someone like Belinelli or Almond. We needed another athletic but offensively limited SF that won't help much until his 3rd year.

considering we were loaded at SF with jeffries, balkman, and quentin (if healthy), taking chandler really doesn't make too much sense. and counting on #50 something pick nichols doesn't seem to be a great plan either. at this point, filling a need seemed to make a little more sense than taking a possible redundant player in chandler. but it's tough to try to make sense of isiah's plan/philosophy for this team...the only thing to really bank on is the younger/more athletic mantra. everything else is a good a guess as anybody else's.

actually, looking at bellinelli, he kind of reminds me of the player crawford could've/should've become. similar skillsets but marco seems to have a much more pure stroke and he's definitely more fundamentally sound. but again, this is summer league...

dj - isiah has no plan. but don't you find it the least bit ironic that some choose to kvetch over Wilson Chandler three years before he makes himself feel totally at home?

someone said his shot didn't suck that bad

Dont neglect to mention how when he went to the hoop his shot was swatted twice in the first half. He shoots a lot. Like almost anytime he touched the ball. But he is going to be talked about in the rookie voting for sure.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

He clearly has to work on his ability to finish around the hoop but you leave this kid open, he is going to hit 50% of his open shots. I think he has alot of potential and he will probably be better than half the guys drafted before him. But I agree it is still early. Let's just hope Chandler can justify his first round selection.
Trust the Process

we went from marbury + jumpshooters, to the suns of the east, to the "quick", to the "power" game.

that's alot of different styles over the past few years. the only common thread was younger & athletic.

chandler WILL be able to play in the league...isiah doesn't draft busts. but again, too many players in front of him for him to get PT and develop (barring injury).

Crappy former Knicks Jermaine Jackson is on the Sonics.

And Durant already knocks down a 3.

Balkman still has no offense.

Durant, a real franchise player that you can only get with high lottery picks, for 3.

Great pass by that intelligent Morris, to the other team.
