Maybe Renaldo Balkman will show enough improvement with his outside touch to justify a starting role--- especially on a front line that includes two scorers at PF/C.

Alternatively, maybe Wilson Chandler will surprise and be NBA-ready from day-1, much like how Michael Finley and Shawn Marion were. He's got the physical tools w/ the NBA-ready body. It's a question of whether his brain is wired to understand the game at NBA speed.

Then it becomes a question of what to do w/ Q-Rich and Jared Jeffries. If Richardson is healthy, he should get minutes somewhere. Jeffries' frantic style should get him limited minutes somewhere, but I don't see him as much more than a 20mpg player at the most.

NBA Comparison: Joey Graham
Chandler has impressive physical tools, with a great combination of strength and athleticism ... He can leap out of the building and create some highlight reel dunks ... He's a very smooth athlete with a knack for finishing ... Chandler has displayed an improving jump shot and his ball handling skills are slowly developing. As primarily a power forward on DePaul, he has developed some post moves and become a very strong rebounder ... His rebounding ability will set him apart from many small forwards a la Shawn Marion ... He is also a solid shot blocker who seems to be at his best defensively in the paint ...

Weaknesses: Chandler is listed height of 6-8 is very questionable, as he appears closer to 6-6 or 6-7. His intensity at times seems questionable, as he doesn't really seem to have the hustle attitude. Like most tweeners, he is not ready to play on the perimeter full time and lacks the quickness to defend top caliber wing players. His jump shot is still in the works, though it has improved, he has not shown the type of range necessary for an NBA small forward ... His shot selection seems very questionable at times, as he is too willing to jack up contested jump shots.

You want to hang onto morris, thats fine, maybe he becomes something maybe he doesn't but if you can include him with chandler and few prospects while hanging onto collins, lee and balkman you need to do it right away

Strengths: Uses his size well…Quicker than most big men, and can slide through players in the lane… A good rebounder who really works on the glass… Relentlessly hits the offensive boards … He can step out and hit the occasional 18-footer …decent handle for a big man and can drive past slower post players…gets great position in the post, and has excellent footwork… A sound passer… Solid defensively and gives great effort He's tall. 6'10 with long arms and very quick for big man…crafty player who knows his strengths and plays to them. Excellent athlete with very good quickness and explosiveness. Has a great feel for the game.

Weaknesses: Not strong enough and can be overpowered down low … Really must focus on expanding his range ... Has some moves on the block, but not a real threat offensively… He can block shots, but not as great at it, and you'd expect with his height/length and leaping ability that he would swat more.

NBA Comparison: Dennis Rodman
Strengths: Long, wiry athletic forward with great energy level ... Excellent rebounder who hits the glass hard ... His bread and butter will be defensively. Good feet, extremely long arms, quick hands. Effective thief, and has good timing for blocked shots off the ball and on smaller perimeter players … Has the versatility to guard on the perimeter and in the post: His great foot speed gives him the quickness to defend quick forwards and guards, and his wiry strength and long arms give him the ability to defend inside ... Very quick hands and feet help on both ends of the floor ... Broad shoulders and long arms give him an ideal basketball physique ... Shows great body control around the basket and the ability to absorb contact and stay balanced ... Best off the ball, screens, occasional drives when they're open, and attacking the offensive glass ... Has a unique personality ala Dennis Rodman. A free spirit with a "carefree" attitude. which can be a positive and a negative ...

Weaknesses: His biggest problem is inconsistency. There were games when he'd take over and then the next game he was no where to be found (which was HUGE in his games against Bama and then Kentucky) ... Balkman isn't a scorer, his handle is horrible. Raw offensive player, averaged under 10 ppg in his junior season ... Lacks any real range on his shot ... Very sloppy. Shot is inconsistent, he can hit from 20, but not at a good %. Needs to add around 15-20 pounds of muscle to go inside and rebound with the same effectiveness ... Turnover prone, needs to become better at protecting the ball off the dribble, and cut down on turnovers ... Shot just over 50% from the free throw line ... Has a good shooting form, he just needs repetition in practice and better focus to improve upon his free throw shooting ...

And your point with posting that information?

Awesome, Isiah must've read this poll and made Balkman off limits for Artest. Another UK victory!
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.
