No offense to the ladies on the board. Its summertime. Not much to talk about.

one of my many pet peeves is 1) when you hold a door for someone the person doesn't say crap and just like the previous poster I said your welcome in a sarcastic tone. 2) When you are in a work environment and you say good morning and they look like a retarded person and act like a mute and doesn't say anything back.

I hate that "good morning" stuff too.

Me I say what up to everyone at work a lot of people just stare at you in your face and say nothing. You could say hi everytyime you pass them and they still won't say anything. That irks me. Its like high school. I'm not cool so I guess I get the loser treatment.

I guess that's why I hate everybody, lol.

It's not just women. Here's what I hate - you're riding up a crowded escalator in some place like Penn Station after you get off the train. The idiots in front of you drop their suitcases and stand blocking the escalator as soon as they get off as though there's no one behind them.

It has nothing to do with spatial relationships. It has to do with being aware of other people around you. In this case, it's a safety issue.

Another thing I hate is @#*%@ bicyclists riding 35mph on pedestrian pathways in the park, but don't get me started.

Yeah, but I'm willing to cut the tourists some flak. They're not doing it out of being inconsiderate. They're just tourists. They don't know any better.

In fact, when you try to get past the tourists and say "excuse me," or whatever, and make it obvious you're trying to walk twice as fast as them, they often will smile and say "sorry," or something like that.

It's the locals who do this and other stuff that really get under my skin. Those folks are just plain inconsiderate. As George Costanza said in the "Chinese Restaurant" episode when he was trying to use the pay phone but it was being hogged by a man: "We're living in a society, people!"
