What, I said those players are going to play and everything Isiah did last is proof salary plays a huge roll in who gets to play. You can get all mad, but We have two guys that are going to get 65-70 minutes at the 4 and 5 in front of Lee. So unless the knicks are going to be the only team in the league to play a three man rotation, Lee is going to be on the short end of minutes this year.

Balkman has Q and Jeffries in front and Isiah playing his three guard rotations isn't going to stop. Hell supposedly Lee is going to be playing at the three too around knicks nation....... who exact is this good for Balkman.

LOL, yeah it's all made up though I guess........

Yeah pretty much. As stated Lee average more than minutes per game last season than Jefferies. Want to compare Malik's contract to Balkman. How about their minutes. It is not about getting mad. It's about getting a point correct. Hope that doesn't make you mad.

The ratio of their minutes is surely influenced by salary. If it wasn't, the ratio should have been Balkman 26:Jeffries 0 and Lee 38:Malik 0.

Jefferies' minutes decrease as his play and impact on games decrease. Zero is kinda out there, Bonn. Come on you are better than that! (in my best Mark Jackson voice). I think whether he thinks some of these guys have the ability to have an impact is the main factor. If that wasn't the case Mo Taylor, Stevie Francis and Jalen Rose would still be on the team or average 30+ minutes a game.

When you're the fourth best option at SF or the third best option at PF, you should be getting zero minutes (except maybe for garbage time). Does any other team give 24 mpg to its fourth best SF?

When the season began did you honestly feel that Jefferies was the third or fourth best option at those respective positions?

Lee is a quality young player. He has all star potential. If we trade him, it should be for another quality young player with similar potential who we think may be a better fit. An example of a player like that is Kevin Martin of the Kings. I would trade Lee for Martin. I would not include him in a trade for a thirtyish player no matter how good he is.

If we have to trade either Balkman or Lee in a Artest deal then I say don't make the trade. He will be a Knick next year regardless of any trade made.

we won't have to move lee b/c we're probably gonna give them some big cap help by taking back kt or sar.

^^^ LOL, I can see that coming.

Last Year Curry got 30, Lee got 30 and Fry got 20. You are crazy if you think Lee isn't Frye this year to Isaih. Best way I can put it.

Lee is going to get plenty of mins. Zach and Curry will as well. jared is the guy that may see less time. Balkman is a high energy type and those guys are fairly productive in fewer minutes.

Can we kill all the isiah bashing for just a minute and recognize that Isiah brought in all these guys, including LEE!!! He hasn't traded Lee when we all know that he was the 1st guy on GM's lips. If he wanted to trade him he'd be gone.
This is not to say that he can't be traded, but it will only be for someone that will really improve he team even beyond what Lee is likely to do. There are very few players like that available right now. Isiah knows what he's doing, but for some reason too many of us refuse to give him any credit for the things he actually get's right.

Like every GM he's made some bad moves, but he's made a lot of good moves too. Lee is just one of them. Lee's role will not change and he's best suited to that role, especially now that Frye is gone and Zach is here. Isiah simply fixed a problem. Lee is a great 6th man but Frye wasn't a good starter so he fixed that problem, rather than force Lee into a starting role, he went and got a true starting quality PF. Isiah get's no credit for that from some guys around here. There is ZERO pressure on Lee and he can do what he does best and not have to carry the load that Zach is more equipped to carry. One day you guys are gonna realize that Isiah is no fool and he does know what he's doing.

Why did Lee get more minutes than Channing, if your theory is correct? I mean I would understand your point if you could explain that. It looks as though you contradicted yourself. Could it be that Lee outplayed Channing despite the fact that Channing was the 8th pick and Lee was the 30th or the fact that Channing made more money than Lee.

Because Frye absolutely sucked at times. Even then he still got to start and only played 5minutes a game less. Zach can score zero points a game and I can predict that he will get 35 minutes a game because he's a max deal player.

Zach and Curry are going to be getting around 65-70 minutes a game, Lee is not going to get all of those minutes.... to many moves to justify.

So why did Francis lose his starting position? He and Jalen were max players. Could it be that Lee loses his minutes because Randolph is a superior basketball player. IMO, Lee needs to worry more about the Balkmans, Chandlers and Nichols coming after his minutes then those two. Jefferies appears to be the odd man out. I guess that is why his name is being mention in about every other trade rumor.

If I thought Isiah was gonna give him more than 18 to 22 mpg, I'd agree.

why do you think he will get considerably less minutes this year than last year?

Because Curry has to be played for 30 plus as an Isiah Trade
Because Zach has to be played for 30 plus as an Isiah Trade
Because Jared has play as an Isiah Trade
Because Q has to play as an Isiah Trade
Because Jerome has to play as an Isiah signing
Because Morris has to play as as an isiah signing and being the reason why we picked a kid we may have never worked out

Balkman and Lee are going to be on the $#!@ of the stick this year, I bet my house on it.

20 sounds about right to me.

Isaiah has indicated that this season, he's going to trim his rotation to 8-10 players. My guess is players with the initials JJ are not going to be in that rotation.

No, I didn't know jack about Balkman then. It would have taken me a whole 2 days to learn that Balkman needed to play and Jared needed to watch, though.

LOL. The fact that he will lose minutes was never in question. Just your logic on why and your only response to my discrepancies of your logic is Fry sucks, so Lee played more only five minutes more. Yep, well thought out.
