Thats like saying shouldnt the best player be a lock for the playoffs. This is a team game. It is rare that 1-2 players can carry a team. I think if we are healthy we will be no lower than a 6th seed in the playoffs but nobody is a lock. You have to play the games. If the Spurs lost Duncan to a season long injury they probably wouldnt make the playoffs.
I have no problem going on record if our team is healthy we will win 43-52 games next season

You are right, anything less than the playoffs is a failure and we can't just squeak in the playoffs, we must win the atlantic division. I agree, no more excuses.

Hold up... I don't think you want to say that we must win the Atlantic Division. Toronto nearly won 50 games right? I'd be satisfied with a playoff experience where we tkae some good east team like the CAVS to 6 or 7 games. Thats how you do it in this league. You make the playoffs, then the next year, you get to the 2nd round, then the ECF in three years etc.

Teams don't just jump up from 33 wins and get to the 2nd round.

Sometimes you do. Each situation is different and have to be looked at individually. The Nets made a Jkidd trade and went from terrible to the NBA finals.
I think we will win games in the playoffs. We are made for the playoffs. We score inside very well get to the ft line like crazy and are near impossible to keep of the boards. I'd be surprised if we dont lead the nba in rebounding.

why not? do we have the talent to win 50 games & the Atlantic or not? were we really a 33 win team last year or was it injuries etc?

why not? do we have the talent to win 50 games & the Atlantic or not? were we really a 33 win team last year or was it injuries etc?

Once you underachieve it gives you permission to underachieve again.

I guess we should just hope that "everything goes right". Whatever that means.

I never believe that stuff about being the best 33 win team. You are what your record says you are (Thanks Bill Parcells). We could've won more games last year if not for injuries but you gotta assume that injuries even out. Some years you're totally healthy, other years everyone goes down at once.. its not a real excuse as to why we only won 33 games. We won 33. Thats it. Thats where we are. We should be improved with Zack next year even if we still get a slew of injuries at the end again. Now if we stay healthy and get the right playoff matchups.. yeah we could advance. But that doesn't happen often.

I'm not sure I understand your question. Aren't the haters saying that there is no excuse for them not making the playoffs? Lover logic is so out there. You spin and you spin and you spin until you have spun your brain out of of your skull
