Nvm though.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

This would be a good sign for the Nets at their power forward spot. Call me crazy but I think with a point guard like Jason Kidd Darko will benefit greatly. The same way Tim Thomas benefitted from playing with Steve Nash (I still cant believe that idiot went signed with the Clippers, what a fool).

They just drafted Sean Williams PF/C. They drafted Boone last year.

I like that deal better than the Randolph one. We'd get a decent rebounder, post scorer, and shot blocker who's young with plenty of upside on a decent deal.

Are you concerned that he would be on his third team in less than 4 years? It would cause me to wonder what's his story.

I cannot believe you guys would rather pay Darko $10 million a year (which is what he is going to demand) than pay Zack Randolph $14 million a year. Zack is twice the player that Darko is or likely will be. This guy is clutch and will show up in the 4th quarter of a game. He rebounds as well as Darko and scores at an allstar level. Darko is a shotblocker and decent defender, but it is not like this guy is the next Ben Wallace. He has no definable offensive game and disappears for long periods of the game. This guy could not even clearly beat our Tony Battie for the starting PF spot. Sometimes I think the hate of everything IT clouds peoples' perceptions.

I could accept Billups and maybe Odom but Allen played like 7 seasons with one team. He was traded on draft nite. Joe Johnson left the Suns via free agency as a restricted FA. And none were drafted or rated as high as Darko coming into the league.

Ok. I think Allen has more to do with Big contract and as I say Joe Johnson signed with the Hawks and the Suns matched but he wanted to go Atlanta so they did a S&T. But if you think Darko is in that company so be it. I just think he been given a shot in Orlando and has not really live up to his hype.
