That front line is horrible. Lee is a great rebounder but doesn't block shots. He is a so so defender. Z-Bo will still be your best defender in the paint. Everyone in lineup feels like they are star besides Q. If you want to move Curry then you need to get a defensive center. Maybe see if Collins is available from the Nets. With the drafting of Williams. They can't keep all their big men happy.

Curry for Camby or Dalembert still makes sense. Maybe this is why Isiah made this movie b/c he's grown impatient with his slow and steady wins the race progress? Yet then again, if that were the case, Mr. Plateau himself, Jamal Crawford, would have been gone by now.

I am not ashamed to say that I like Curry and I do not wish to see him get traded. I want to see him stay and succeed and become the player that he should be. There is no reason why he can not elevate his game to all-star status. Seriously, if we turn around and now trade Curry, then what the hell was the point in risking everything for him ? Seriously, 2 lottery picks and what ever else we gave up. I do not see Zeke making a trade of Curry, he will trade Dlee before he trades Curry.

Curry isn't going anywhere. I really think that isiah wants to pair Zach and Curry. We all speculated on the idea of getting JO and he's basically the same kind of offensive player as JO. JO is a far better defender, but in terms of offfense you're getting the same things. Great Post play and solid midrange shooting. Quick enough to get by their man. I don't see any reason why there's a reason to want to send Curry away. Curry will always be primarily a low post player and when Zach is on the floor with Curry he can occupy a mid and hi post role. When Curry is out of the game Zach goes to the low post. What's the problem?

Finally a person not over racting to a trade. Zach and Curry are two different players. I see them complimenting each other rather then get in the way. People here are mistaking Zach for a center he isn't a center he is a legit pf who can fill some minutes at C for Curry. But Curry is the main focal point of the low post game as Curry is much better post player. Zach is much more polished than Curry are perimeter shooter.

Curry is going to be much more defensive minded come this year. One thing is Curry knows his weaknesses and you can tell by his most recent interview that he wants to be the best center in the game. You don't trade Curry after doing what he did last year.

People on the board got it all wrong Isiah wants Kobe but only if he can pair Kobe with Curry because he sees visions of Wade and Shaq and Kobe and Shaq. Isiah will trade anyone except Curry to get Kobe and the Lakers know this.

Curry and Zach may compliment eachother offensively, but they only make our defense suckier.

Was scoring and rebounding really even a problem to begin with?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Like Frye and Lee were defensive stoppers.

JO was wanted because of his defense. Nobody really cared to much for JO's offensive game. The fact that he is a 10rebound 2.5blk guy per game is the reason why he would have been a great fit with Curry. Plus the fact that JO could Anchor the defense. So its not the same thing.

Anyway its about improving the team and balancing the team. Dalembert or Camby & Randolph compliment each other way better than Curry & Randolph. Dalembert or Camby could anchor the defense and don't need the ball in there hands to be effective. Randolph could anchor the offense from the post. You made a post earlier talking about how we need to find a defensive PF next to Curry to compliment. Well with Randolph now being the man in NY we need to switch that plan an find a defensive center to compliment Randolph. With a Dalembert or Camby, Randolph, Lee frontcourt they would completely own the boards teams wouldn't even think about getting second shots. One and done every time. Better balance of offense, defense with dominating rebounding.

It's sort of ironic that the Bulls are still looking for the low post presence to replace Curry. Sending them anything will only help them further.

There's no comparison IMO. Francis was pretty much just a concession and he wasn't brought here as a piece for the future like Zach will be. With Curry and Zach they may not be perfect but what they do give you is gonna make this team hard to stop. We already scored a lot, but I think we'll be more efficient now. Teams won't get a break when Curry leaves and when they're both out there teams will have to defend us much more honestly and that will be a problem for them. Our own D won't be any worse than it was when we had Frye and actually I expect it to get a bit better at the other positions.

To me the best follow up move is to make a trade for a guy like Rashard Lewis. Now that we have 2 expiring contracts and some good prospects to trade it puts us in a better position. Not a great position, but better than we were. Seattle may not laugh when Isiah calls next time, cuz we actually have a little something to bargain with. I doubt that LA is still looking to move Kobe, but there's still an outside shot there too. I don't know who else is out there that might fit our needs, but I would think a shooter is more of a fit for the next move.
