Lol it is not about being a crybaby its about knowing how to build a team. I am no GM but I know that if you invest a lot of money in 2 low post players that cannot play defense you are going to have problems.

Randolph does not like to pass the ball. Curry cannot pass the ball.

Zeke said this is Curry's team. Can Zach handle that being the man in Portland?

If not then you can expect his #'s to take a dip in favor of Curry. Will he mope like a little biatch?

What happened to Lee? Morris? Why give up on Frye so quick?

What happened to allowing your team to gel? What happened to no more trades?

What happened about getting under the cap in 2 years? I thought every one wanted to come to NY? How are we going to afford them?

How can we win a championship w/o defense? Especially low post defense?

How do Curry and Randolph average less than one block combined?

nobody is saying that Zach Randolph can't play. nobody is denying he's 20/10. the problem people have is that another frontcourt scorer isn't what we need.

This is the best Isiah trade so far though on the positive side
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

the team got better end talent wise, there's no debate about that... the debate is about the cap situation going forward... for all the idiots who keep saying the payroll doesn't mean anything, that's the type of mentality that keeps this franchise from being able to make any impact free agent signings every year... when will this franchise ever learn from their past mistakes? the old saying "History repeats itself" takes on a new meaning when you're talking about the NY Knicks.

Thanks for bringing some sanity to the discussion. Earl will combat with this some crap like: "hit the open man"

TMS - what does naming Mardy and Balkman have to do with race?

sheesh

make a damn point then... what does any of that have to do with my dislike of this trade?

highfivesucka - bear with me a moment. Here is where people get carried away in their hysteria before looking at how the floor might be organized.

Let's talk purely basketball strategy a second.

Just for kicks and giggles... Let's say Eddy is positioned on the low block, could Zack Randolph occupy a complimentary position on the floor to take some of the defensive pressure off Eddy so he in not instantly doubled?

Yes, no or maybe?

Now, let's imagine David Lee freed to play a position on the floor in that shift.

Is there a space that Lee can start, in a halfcourt set, that can maximize his skill-set?

Yes, no or maybe?

zach was 20-10 and was near the top of the league in fga- he was the focal point- he got touches- sure, he produced- but he ain't 20 & 10 on this team.

"If David Lee averaged 23 points and 10 rebounds the place would be all over his jock"

I think the first line of your post says it all Earl.
