That was a pretty nice interview. I'm sure the coach is not lying about Chandler. He did call him the best athlete in the conference, two years running. He played the post in high school so he is really just learning the game. His ball handling and shooting are getting better. He might really amount to something special, coach says he is a hard worker in practice, so not sure about some of the negative comments... Isiah has an eye, I'll take his gamble over most peoples.

No doubt, his coach is talking Chandler up. They all do that and I respect it. But I was impressed with what he said about Chandler's footwork on defense. I don't know if he's my first choice, but Chandler would be good value at 23.

Maybe many didn't listen to the 6:46 sec interview, well they need to.

Are we talking basketball or triathlon?
Why athletism is suddenly the only thing that matters in team sport?
Athletism is a requirement to get in and stay in the game.
The quality of the bbal player is everything but athletism.
In fact pure athletism is more of weakness to the player as it can stop him from development of other skills. Great player always has a balance of skills, athletism, character, teamwork, and work ethics.
