Why is it players don't want to play in Boston ?
Is it Ainge, or the boston mystique that has been tarnished ever since Len Bias death or what.
Is it the city itself that NBA players don't approve of.
boston historically has been known as a somewhat "racist" city. that could play a part.
TrueBlue and myself were hinting around that the other day. That city has a lot to overcome. They started to make amends for some of its history by reaching out to Russell. I am sure that KG good friend Ewing had something to tell him about his thoughts on growing up in that city and the constant racist taunts. Players such as JO has been outspoken about the prospects of playing in Boston.
