Getting away from the COSSUCKS therapy session, it was a good article. Obviously we knew someone was going to take a shot at the alfredo comments, but it's not that big of deal. Guy's gotta eat.
He's saying the right things, which is all he can do in a magazine article, but I hope it translates on the court. He's acknowledging his flaws, atleast he's not delusional.
I absolutely agree with Nate's comments about Curry's criticism is a result of our team's record, but I also agree that's fair. Just be glad he's not making excuses for himself as so many on here love to do.

That is something that stood out to me too, that he knew he was bad at defense and rebounding. He didnt need to acknowledge that but he did. Shows me alot about Curry's character.

He seems like a good guy overall. He said that he would get it done. I think whoever the best player on the Knicks is will always take abuse. Marbury did. Houston did. Patrick did. Even Clyde was booed.

I wouldn't expect him to be eating a salad. The guy is huge and guys that size MUST eat. I'm about 5-10 and 210 lbs and I have to eat to feed the muscle I have, but I also have to be careful to stay away from the stuff that will only put me over my nutritional need for each day. That's why i'm overweight now. I would suspect that Curry probably takes in too many calories for his needs. He just needs to find a diet that will work. He did say that he was going to go on a lo carb diet this summer and this article was written BEFORE the end of the season.

He gave us a glimpse of what he can do when he's lighter when he was in Chicago and lost all that weight, but this time he has to do it the right way, which it seems like he realizes now.
No one said he shouldn't eat. Anyone trying to lose weight without losing strength needs a lot of protein, *healthy* fats (sorry Alfredo sauce doesn't qualify), and healthy carbs at the right time (Sprite doesn't qualify either). I haven't had a soda in about ten years. If I can do that, Eddy should be able to too. I wish I had Eddy's physical gifts because I wouldn't blow it like he does.

Curry has his big contract, he has his nice house, he has his nice cars and now he seemingly things he has his props. He's done. Don't expect much more from him now that he's averaging 3 whole points more than his past career high.

This guy is a loser and any team where he's the leader is destined for absolutely nothing but mediocrity.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

If that makes anyone a "loser" count me in on wanting to be a "loser".

Just out of curiousity are you a "winner"?

If you are a "winner" please tell us all what makes you a "winner"?

You're darn right I'd love to be 7' with his gifted athletic potential. I don't know many hardcore basketball fans who wouldn't.

What's your problem? We're talking basketball here. What's with the personal attacks?

Cossucks reminds me of a younger me.

I say let's all kill him with love.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

If what you are saying was true he would've never improved at all. Why should he have increased his scoring at all? He already had his money, why not be J. James and collect checks and eat? He didn't do that. He not only played more minutes than ever in his career, he was actually effective in OT games. He played 81 games with all those minutes and that seems to have slipped your notice too. How about scoring all of that with people all over him every game? He never said he had it all together, but he's clearly one of the best bigmen in the East. If not for our lack of perimeter shooting, he would've avg'd MORE than the 19.5 pts he did and then what would you be saying?

The thing is that you KNOW Curry isn't as bad as you're making him out to be and yet you persist in attacking him. It's sad really. I'm pulling for him to get in better shape and to improve his all around game so that you can take your "loser" comment and eat it!!! When you're all quiet and hiding in a corner the rest of us can enjoy the Knicks as they improve as a team.

Oh man! I just couldn't take anymore. Is he kidding. He talks of himself as a god! There's denial here. He finished his sixth year, going into his seventh and he brags about how he's developed. A 19.5 scoring average and nothing else for his size and experience is development? The article even says' after Shaq and Howard, he's it? And then admits that he's nothing in the Western Conference? After six seasons, he's matured? Come back to Earth Curry.
I'll never trust this' team again.

As long as he has a good work-out regiment, eats moderately, (stays away from the fried food) he'll be fine.

Like that's going to happen. Cheeseburger is packing it on again.

You seem like a 5 foot 4 inch 130 pound white guy who had major social issues in high school so you are insanely jealous of the big successful black athlete who all other kids in school really liked.

What a joke.

We're talking about professional athletes, who are making millions of dollars and Curry's immitating a hamburger.
I'll never trust this' team again.

He needs a little more understanding of the post game and how to find open teammates from his position. That hopefully will come with experience.

Just how much understanding and experience does he need to post up? He should of had that down two years ago. He should be dominating by now. Not talking about how he's getting better. This is equivelent to 'the little train that could'.
I'll never trust this' team again.

which it seems like he realizes now.

yeah, it only seems' like he realizes things. That's a part of his problem. If he'd just come out and say he s**ks, and say nothing more and just go do it, then I'd beleive the garbage he says out there. When your talking about a guys diet, then you know' you have problems.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Thanks for the reply. I just reread it but I guess I figured since Bonn is always commenting on other peoples physical attributes that his own physical attributes would not not be treated any differently. Sorry if I was mistaken.

Just keep the personal attacks in check, inbounds. I go out of bounds a lot myself, and need to work on it a little more. You do' realize that Martin is one of the Mods, right? These guys are pretty cool, so be grateful.
