How about this, start by replying to a post with an image that works by clicking the "reply with quote button". Then you'll see the code that works in the message you're quoting.

How did you get that UK page to show up as an image???

U guys need to learn some basic windoze skills.

First, take a screen shot with Alt-PrtSc, then paste it into "Paint" and save it as some kind of image. Now comes the hard part - you need a hosting service that lets you upload images. Upload your image and link to it with the supplied image codes.

I don't get it - Playa can display YouTube clips but not images? Oh, I get it, he's just "Playin" with us.

Somebody should a UK seminar on how to post images when they don't work for ya. Kam77 and basketballjones , you guys deserve a raise

Youtube works everytime, but images never works for me sorry.

playa2 - You have the wrong URLs on your pics. Looks like you copied and pasted the URL from your browser which may or may not be the exact location of the pic. It could be using some redirect link to the actual pic. To get the correct location of the pic, right click on the picture and click on "Copy Image Location" if using firefox or for IE right click on the pic and you will see the URL in the popup window.

You got the codes right, you just gotta put something between them! A URL is a "Universal Resource Locator". For example:

http://adage.com/images/random/nike3_081205_big.jpg

Is a url.

This code will show the image:

[img]http://adage.com/images/random/nike3_081205_big.jpg[/img]

Copy the above line, create a post and paste it in there. You should wind up with a post containing an image.

YouTube works the same way; you put a URL between the codes.
