Tell me when hip hop died?

Who is out? Lil Wayne is the best you can come up with? Lil wayne? Okay ill give you Lil wayne for the hell of it. Who else? NOBODY. You got songs that all sound like they were made on a free sample of fruity loops and rhymes that are str8 dookie. What hot now, party like a rock star? Garbage. You trying to act like Lil wayne is on the level Nas, Biggie, Pac, pre 2004 jay-z. Cmon. Dude is okay. His music is decent at best.

And Hip hop died when the started playing "crunk" on hot 97. The birthplace of rap, the home of hip hop NYC playing music thats imported from Ohio or wherever these bums are from. LOL at lil wayne saying hes better than Jay-z. L-O-L

Gentlemen, I hear all that you're saying..however, without a doubt the baddest Rap cut in the history of Hip Hop is:

Pete Rock and CL Smooth's "They Reminisce Over You" The absolutely All Time Hip Hop Classic

Yeah whatever.

You stuck in 96 dawg. Rap music has moved on from the year 96. But you know how I feel about it. It's pretty much the same with the Knicks. Using your logic, the NBA is dead. It definitely aint the same anymore just like rap isn't. But the league has still managed to sell ticket after ticket after ticket, just like rap has.

It aint dead dawg. By a long shot.

And at this point in the game, Lil Wayne is better than Jay Z.

I see you went back under the rock on your claim that Jay writes Weezy's rhymes. Dawg are you always wrong about rap music?

You wrong again dawg. Alan Thicke is one of the best in the game 2day.

You know what -- it's funny how you throw Nas out their when you claim the artform is dead but Nas was the same lil lame dude who "tried" to put out the same music that's sellign 2day -- gangster music. But no one bought his sheeeet, so here he is years later criticizing the same music that his washed-up, lying about he was friends with 2pac asz tried to make a living off of.

Nas aint no street dude. The only thing that is dead is his street cred.

Young Jeezy: "I say hip hop is alive. Tell Nas I said he's a liar If he don't like it, tell him to get at me."

I want you to listen to this and tell me that the voice of the streets is dead. Stop lying to yourself dawg. Yeah I like that song by Nas but you like this song by TI too. Admit it.

That gangsta music he tried to put out? You must mean illmatic, the best hip hop album ever made. Yeah its a good thing he tried. I dont think he faked nothing. He was a 18 year old hard rock from queensbridge. Now hes a grown man and hes matured. Notice no more busting guns and selling drugs in his music. And thats real. You think someone like fifty who lives in a gated community and has 500 million dollars keeps it real cause he still fronts in his music?

Young jeezy bro? lol, hes alright too. Im not saying that all these guys suck. Well actually that song you posted was awful, but ive heard a few songs that are okay. But if thats the best out there then thats why the game sucks as bad is it does today.

This is a video made during the time the game had passed Nas by. He calls himself Escobar knowing he aint never been a street dude. Fake asz punk. It's the same gangster, mack daddy, jacked beats that you get in the music 2day. Only thing different is the story you hear from the new cats are real. Nas wanted to be Rakim, then 2pac. Be yourself dude.

Meanwhile you posting a song about a multimillionare who live in a gated community calling himself a shooter? How many times do you think Lil wayne has shot someone? He couldnt beat up his own reflection with his skinny 5 foot self. Cmon man.
