I have no problem with guys like Durant and Marbury making millions off these shoes. But coming from a poor background it's great to see guys doing things like this. Kudos to both and I hope they make millions while helping the rest. I grew up wearing 10 dollar buddies and being made fun of because I couldn't afford Jordans. NEither could the people wearing them.

I used to try to kick people who would make fun of my shoes. But the rubber fronts of the buddies would just bounce right off the person.

the greatest moment of my life was playing in summer camp junior year and someone gave me a pair of $60 Nike's. I wore those things for two years. Then I got to college and they gave us a $150 pair of sneakers every other week. I used to bring them home and give them to my friends that used to make fun of me for wearing the buddies. Kindness is the ultimate type of revenge.

LOL...I rememeber that song. Sorry Bip, I probably would have been one of the guys teasing you to. I wore Jordans, Magics converse weapons (the yellow, purple and white) etc. And your right, I couldn't really afford them either. I was a spoiled little brat
