This is the worst game I ever saw.

I repeat, the knicks could beat clevland in a 7 game series!

Knicks would lose in 5. I'm not sure the current Knicks could beat the Hawks in a 7 game series. Let's get real.

The Cavs don't have a chance.

Sure they aren't scared by the Spurs - because they KNOW they will be lucky to even take 1 game. The Spurs are a dynasty - the Cavs have a long way to go.

I think most assume Cleveland will lose the first two games, which they probably will. That being said, Cleveland is very good at home. The series hasn't really started until we see how they do in a few home games. Their odds for the series are slim, though.

I just think the West is still on a whole different level. Lebron is a great player, but the Spurs are a dynasty - they haven't done it back to back but they have consistently been there and won. Even with the Cavs at home, this is not the Eastern conference - if they sneak in a game you know Pop will have adjustments that will put that to an end.

I agree about the west being on a different level. Think of it this way... you could argue that the Spurs are only the THIRD best team in the west (at least by record) and they're better than the best of the east by a wide margin.

But, I think Cleveland will make a showing and give their fans some hope once they get home. I certainly could see Cleveland getting rocked in 4 or 5 games... certainly not arguing that it's a possibility.

Yet, the East has won two of the last three championships. I guess that is why they play the games.

Lebron wont be this off all series. He takes a couple of games to get comfortable. One can't afford that luxury against the Spurs, but I expect some better effort and more competitive games going forward.

12 points down in game one, in SA, is not that bad.

Cavs played reasonably well considering Lebron's performance. I think this is expected since the Spurs are far more experienced. This can still be a good series.

The east also had 2 far more talented teams go to the finals against weaker west teams (L.A. was fighting behind the scenes and Dallas loves to choke). You could make the case the west put up big talent and lost, but the east was putting up some serious teams too - I think all the cavs have is Lebron, his supporting cast cannot match up with the west like the Heat and the Pistons.
