i pretty much ignore all the conspiracy threads he posts personally, & let the mods decide what should be posted & what shouldn't, but that's just me... doesn't bother me one way or another as long as he's not posting racist material.

No, silly. But posting drivel from radical boards and promoting propaganda, this just isn't the place. Like I said, I thought this thread was okay. He has a history of posting other nonsense, though. I'm trying to be nice here. Nobody is trying to quiet anyone from free speech. When he's promoted his radical beliefs, it was tactless (and, in some cases, possibly racist) and shouldn't have been discussed here. By all means, discuss, but don't post articles that are outright lies and anyone with half a brain knows that they are and then defend it to support your propaganda.

In all fairness. On the other hand, I don't think we should sensor a post to be deleted like this one either. I think, despite any of our differences, beliefs or what we might say, there could be a middle ground here. One were you might learn something and maybe even (for some) heal. Unless someone posts something totally outragious, really, really disgusting, I think it can be talked out. Sounds strange coming from me, I know, knowing I said I was disgusted by it to begin with.

i don't have a problem with you commenting about it, but when you start trying to dictate what people should or shouldn't post on this forum is what i don't agree with... like i said, as long as he's not offending people with racist comments or whatever, i personally don't see why he should be prevented from posting threads like this... but that's just me... the mods may feel differently, but that's up to them to decide, isn't it? that's the only point i'm trying to make.

i enjoy a good argument as much as the next guy tho, so keep on commenting on playa's threads 49.

Okay, all fair enough. I would like to point out one thing though. You say as long as he doesn't say anything racist. How do you know that what he's saying with this post isn't racist? Racism isn't just one kind of thing. It doesn't only have to do with the color of someone's skin. I supose you could call it sexist, but what's the difference really, when you think about it. Afterall, we all live in such a politically correct society now (or we are suppose to be) that there are those who look for creative kinds of vehicles to perform there disatifaction with someone of a different background. Whatever kind of background that may be. But what playa is putting out there, I'm suggesting these kinds of things may be a future kind of racism one day. Is it justifiable? Playa wants to bring these things up, he better have valid cause for putting them up, one that says something important to all, otherwise someone will have a problem and I will give him benefit of the doubt in saying I hope that's what he's looking for. I for instance was offended by this post. I choose to try to convey it in a more two way conversation though. Being a total bird brain in this kind of argument would obviously be futile in manys eyes. Do I take a chance of making myself 'unreliable'? We all have tension and most of us don't want to take the chance of having egg on our faces, when we speak of such things. And there you have it. You all judge for yourselves.
