Would LeBron have had the game he did if Ben Wallace were still on the Pistons?
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Maybe... but that has nothing to do with the Knicks, that's purely a superior player. I think you're on crack with all the Kobe and LeBron to the Knicks fantasy posts.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Possibly to the first point, hell no to the second. No way LB lets that happen. Certainly Detroit made some BAD defensive lapses. In fairness, though, LeBron hit some AMAZING shots and deserves the props he's getting.

this is why you pick Lebron over Oden. Lebron can create his own shot.

He is so strong- there were some perimeter shots he hit that were tough- and he was well guarded.

If Ben were on the pistons, maybe he would have slowed him down if they put him on Lebron- but I think we're seeing first hand that a single, superior talent can outplay an opponent single handedly.

I bet we see a lot more doubles & triples in the next game.

OK LARRY WAS NOT AN AMAZING COACH WITH THE PISTONS!!!! He help players mature and play defense the guy did a nice job in exactly one series the Lakers, in which the pistons where a better team.

Okur, Wallace, Wallace, Prince, Hamilton, Billups that was a better than the lakers with an old gary payton and an injured Malone. Prince on Bryant and Three bigs on Shaq.

He got lucky. Ainge didn't want isiah to have Wallace so dumars got lucky. They don't get two games vs. the nets without him....

The Nets are up 3-2, Kidd gets injured and they lose in Seven games, because of it. The next series JO broke down and they advance again, while the pacers were better at full strength....

The Heat were on their way to the finals then their big dogs got injured........Is it easy to win a championship no, but their are circumstances at play here.....Is cleveland playing right now if the wizards are healthy, or chicago loses their last game of the season, no....so there is luck at play.....

In realty these pistons should have been knocked out in the 2nd and 3rd round under larry. Still good coaching but lets not get carried away.....

You have to be a ****ing idiot to think cleveland is a better team than the knicks without lebron, just plain stupid. Just like without Nash the suns are winning 15 less games. Its a lot easier to score and look competant when you have one of the top 4 players in the league on your team.....

Gibson
Hughes
Pavolic
Gooden
Z

is better than

Marbury
Q
Balkman
Lee
Curry

Season series
Cavs 102 Knicks 96
Knicks 101 Cavs 98
Cavs 90 Knicks 68 (no lee, crawford, richardson)

I find it hard to believe that you think subtracting Lebron this team is winning more than 20 games.
Please........

Ok, dork. Except of course that the Knicks won 33, 23 and 33 games the past few seasons. So yeah, the Knicks are a POWERHOUSE. LOL. They're on the brink. Six straight losing seasons where we've been embarassed, but we're on the brink. The Cavs are very good with LeBron. Without him, maybe they win 30 games. Guess what the Knicks average win total over the past three years is? Just under 30 wins a season. You have to be a F***** idiot to think that you have any argument when you're talking about the most embarassing and worst run franchise in the league. At least the Cavs are winning. And yes, the Knicks suck. God, why do people go out of their way to make petty arguments about nothing? Grow up.

Nobody is defending the Cavs without LeBron; it's irrelevant anyway. They have LeBron. They're winning. LeBron will stay in Cleveland if they win a championship. Case closed.

Dork a healthy Knicks team wins 37 games a well coached knicks team plays .500 ball. Its irrelevant to argue with someone that doesn't realize the knicks played as bad as they did because of isiahs guard rotations and lack of time to lee and balkman. Those two guys needed more time on the floor in order to be successful.....

And there is no way cleveland wins 30 games without lebron, not a chance in hell

Big Z, Drew Gooden, Varajao, Donyell Marshall, Sasha Pavlovic, Larry Hughes, Eric Snow. They're not *that* bad.

The Knicks aren't a 37 win team, and certainly not a .500 team. Why? They didn't win that many games, so you can't just automagically give them credit; doesn't work that way. As for Balkman and Lee, should they have played more? Yes. Did they? No. You're arguing that the Knicks win more games if they were better coached. I agree with you. They're not better coached, so they didn't win more games. How hard is it to understand? Next question.
