looks like a Balkman clone to me only 3 years older... 25 years old? i don't know if i'd use a 1st rounder on him... what's his upside? does he possess the skillset to improve much on his game than being much more than a hustle player? will he be the dominant shotblocker at the NBA level playing against bigger, stronger & faster opponents that he was in college? at least w/Balkman he's still only 22, & we didn't have a player like him on the roster when Isiah drafted him.

That is what I was thinking. Why do we need another 6'8" shot-blocker? Unless this guy has a jumpshot, which appears to me that he does not.

Yeah, you beat me to it. 6'8 215 lbs, hustling, shotblocker was on Balkmans scouting report comming out of college last yr. He's too small and light to be banging with legit PF's in this league. If were drafting a shot-blocker, why not go with Williams who has the size to compete in the paint.

"Man, who knows with this team." Aguirre.

if we use Balkman in a trade to get another piece, than i wouldn't mind taking this guy, but having 2 Balkman's on the roster seems unnecessary to me... i much prefer going after Sean Will, or that Avis Wyatt kid.
