I agree Briggs.

its too early to believe what the mocks are saying. Last year this kid would have been a lotto. What is the big differnce from last year? The team wasn't as good that's about it.

The Sweetney comparison is spot on. Neither guy has any lift (can't finish in traffic).

What you see in mock drafts and reality is much different. You say Davis has no lift--I agree -he's no high flyer but if you really watch the nuances of basketball--how can people compare the players? Davis has 3 man skills zach randolph type agility[the guy i would compare him with] great lateral movement extreme power one of the best handles a big man of his size has *ever* had. He defintely has a different mentality he's a very good passer--he's got his head on straight a good kid who was a VERY good football player as well. My bet is he will start getting hyped and rightfully so and I dont see how this kid could ever last past 20 even in this draft. If they say Morris was first round material then what is Davis?

I agree. I'd love Davis. He worked extremely hard this past off-season and looked great this past year, but didn't get the notoriety. He wasn't fat, at all. He looked very quick on his feet, and if he's a legit 6'9, his value is that much more. Good player with great character and work ethic. He's a mismatch just waiting to happen. Those that say sweetney, didn't see him this year.

I'd be okay with Big Baby at 23, not my choice at all but I'd be okay

We already have a big guy. I'm not saying the Knicks need Glen Davis--I'm saying he's a good player who's been overlooked and has a different game with a different mentality than Mike Sweetney. A sleeper is a guy who doesn't get talked about

Briggs, I know you loved a similar fat boy in Erik Williams of Wake Forest a couple years ago, but he didn't make it. Where do you compare Big Baby to where you viewed Williams?
