Kurt Thomas good back up. In NY he was asked to start and lets face it he ain't no starter material.

Honestly, as much as I like Kurt, this is not a knock, but I think the team team does only a little better with him at center. The big problem is the size differential. He does cause issues on offense for opposing centers because he can hit a jumper, but at the same time, he has issues with offensive centers with any inside game, because they almost always outside him.

I'd give him an edge over Eddy at center, maybe an extra 3-5 wins over the course of a season, but nothing too huge. The problem is with Kurt's size disadvantage at center, it puts a cap on how far you can progress. The real thing would've been seeing if Kurt at PF could make up for some of Eddy's glaring flaws at center.
