People who are harsh on TT are trying to justify the Curry trade (because they think we would have had no choice but draft him) and are equally agenda driven. I'm sure it's not just a coincidence that TT is the most criticized player on this board taken in last year's draft (with Marcus Williams second). (And calling Eddy a "skilled player" is a joke. What skills does he have? Does *one* skill qualify a player as a "skilled" player?)

Well put. Game. Set. Match.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Bonn, eddy is a skilled player, offensively skilled, that is a huge skill, one of the best post players in the game offensively, no if you don't think that is a skill then we can cut this conversation short, because obviously there is a lot more you need to learn before we can proceed....

i don't know what game either of you are watching... but to call TT doo doo is also a little bit premature. After 1 year? The guy had 1 year on college, right?

I haven't watched enough of his play but I think he deserves at least this summer and next year until we can draw some conclusions.

why do I need more than a year to make a "now" evaluation right now? if he is better next year then I will upgrade him, but right now the guy is doo doo..... what is so hard about that?

10pts 6rbs 5stls 1blk in 22 mintues, with a couple of pace setting plays, i don't know how you can call the guy garbage, especially since he knows his role and doesn't try to go above it. He is going to add weight to his frame and will develop a few moves around the basket and his numbers are only going to grow

The one where you're hating on a player purely for the reasons Bonn said.

Why knock on Tyrus Thomas? He has more potential than most players on the Knicks.

ok then, what's your benchmark? Starting PFs for the playoffs? 6 year vets? Does perspective count?

Is Curry doo doo cause he can't pass out of a double team after 5 years in the league or is he a skilled player? Frye must be doo doo. Same with Balk and Collins. And Francis, JJ, Big Game, Nate. Lee is just above doo doo? is that right?

TKF has a bad habit of trashing guys in this league who really shouldn't be. If Tyrus is Doo Doo then so is Mardy and Balkman. We can piss match all day on comparing young players to ours like say MILSAP>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Any young Knick player sans Lee.

If Balkman did this in a deciding playoff game against Champion competition while getting a W, he would have been the first poster on Realgm giving an breadown of "Keys To The Win" highlighting what Blakman did. I can just picture

tkf breakdown

Balkman All I can say is ISAYUGH is showing us all why he picked this guy where he did. The Game seemed to change as soon As Balkman stepped on the court and brought an unmatched energy. He had a series where he blocks a shot, keeps it in play, starts the fast break, runs with the break and scores a monster 2 hand slam in the lane. He even showed us a glimpse of potential post game with his back to the basket dribble spin turnaround hook shot over Sheed. 10pts 6rbs 5stls 1blk in 22 minutes..... HATERS DOWN KNICKS UP"!

And Balkman would have had that impact had isiah not been foolish enough to give jefferies his minutes, in fact i believe if isiah had any concept of an effective unit, balkman and lee would have helped deliever the knicks to the playoffs.....

jeffries was hurt a lot this season and there were times where jeffries played well enough to be on the floor I think malik stole a lot of balkmans minutes, and along with balkmans good play a lot of rookie mistakes would have accompanied it. Lee and balkman are not at that point yet, not to take a team that had too many flaws, to the next level. Not yet at least.....

LMAO. Dude, don't take it so seriously. I find you very amusing (even though it's probably not your intention).

You remind me why it's okay to say that someone's opinion is wrong and I thank you for that.
