Yeah this is the part that people tend to overlook. He was only replaced by 2 of the BEST PG's in the league, but that had little to do with the success those teams had. Not to mention that those teams also made some changes and added players. NO the only difference is the fact that Steph was now gone. So we should jump to Title contenders without him.

Hey Nix did you overlook Jason Terry replacing HOF Nash or Deron Williams replacing HOF Stockton or Chris Paul replacing B-Diddy.

safer bet is that he gets an extension, but most likely just retires in 2 years.

miami has nothing but JUNK on their roster. sorry, did i say JUNK? i meant DOO DOO.

jwill + toine? terrible, just terrible.

only move in the backcourt that's gonna happen this summer is the waiving of francis.

Starting to get nausious seeing anything with Antoine "there are no 4 pointers" Walker coming our way.
I'd rather keep Steve&bury.

Man I've been asking for this deal since the summer. Walkers contract has a team option to terminate his deal in 2009. Hell yah I trade Mebury for JWill and Walker.

We don't need Walker. We need to give those minutes to Balkman and hopefully JJ2 will work on his jumper and justify his salary (he did seem to improve his jumper in the last few games). Just cut Francis and move on.

I would definitely do it. Or Francis.

J-Will (expiring deal) and Kapono in a sign and trade for Marbury or Francis and Nate.

Or J-Will, Doleac and cash, #20 pick or Dorell Wright for Francis/Marbs and Nate.


It's got to be starbury or nothing. Definately has to be starbury, there's no doubt. I'd throw Nate in there also, if it could brings someone else to NY.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Walker Deal ends the same year as Marbury and Jwill is expiring this year. Honestly, how is that not a good deal??? Even if we were trading for Walker, you think this team isn't still a 33 win team with Walker instead of marbury?

Seriuosly, as bad as you think Walker is, that is Meburys trade value. Maybe we could get a pick next year or something, is that enough to make you want to get a cancer out as the face of the Knicks?

Walker Deal ends the same year as Marbury and Jwill is expiring now. Honestly, how is that not a good deal??? Even if we were trading for Walker, you think this team isn't still a 33 win team with Walker? Seriuosly.

Walker has 3 more years after this season. That is why I suggested the 3 way with Denver. At least if KMart is healthy he would be better than Walker plus the 2nd rounder from Denver.

Everybody from SI.com has Walker with an ETO and Hoopshype has him with a team option. Either way if we cut walker those last two years will not be exercised.
