How does any of these ridiculous trades help the knicks? Really diop? I love howard but even moreso with curry at center. So what you guys want to do is give the mavs a piece they sorely need to win a championship and give us another wing player and a center who can't score, stay out of foul trouble and stay on the floor, but he does defend a little?

you guys are amazing.....

I'd move howard right after I got him for picks- its called rebuilding-

and for however young curry is, he has a $10mm per year contract- and is not a center to build around.

On the mavs, his flaws get covered up-

They have great passers, great shooters and up until watching GS walk over them- good wing defenders.

And yes, I'd love to help Dallas get better, because if they think Curry is the missing part, they'll trade for him.

^ It's actually close to 9.5 million, which for his production, potential, and size, is pretty close to a bargain, considering Dwight Howard is set to make like 6 million more next year.

Also, our shooters SUCK. Jefferies is a versatile but not tenacious defender, so our defense sucks too, which doesn't exactly HELP Curry; who already needs to lose weight and block more shots anyway.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

How exactly does the fact that Eddy makes about 60% more than the Magic's 21 year old all-star center establish that Eddy's a bargain? That's like the kid who gives two twenties for a ten and brags about the deal afterward. (And we all know that kid was Isiah!)

I'm still trying to understand how trading away Curry makes us better? We have the BEAST of the East for the next few years. Sure Dwight is also a beast, but he backs off of Curry and doesn't really want any part of him. Why not continue to develop Curry and refine the team around him? Guys like Curry are hard to find. Even with his flaws, he still does something that few NBA players can do. We need to get our 3pt shooting up over 35% and continue to improve on the passing inside and back out. When we won games our Assists were at 20 per. The other obvious need is to sure up the D. WIth Balkman and Collins getting more minutes that may happen.

There's no need to weaken the team in order to make changes. We know what we need. We may already have most of what we need on the team already. I'd like to see how the kids develop. Who knows what Morris can give us. I know that he has the right kind of size we need and his skills are more in line with what we want at PF. So we'll see. I'm hopeful that we'll draft well again and fill another need.

As long as we get back Howard I'm ok with any kind of trade.

Curry for Howard and Diop.

See you're doing it again. You can't even praise Curry without using the future tense. You're talking about what you *hope* will happen and taking it as evidence that it *will* happen and that the critics will be wrong.

I'm doing what again??? I'm telling you I want to see you talking about Curry the same way next year. The Zaza is equal, he couldn't help mavs....... I'm commenting this to memory. See last year I don't if you were in the hell never be more then a 13 and 6, 25 minutes per game camp. But this go around I've seen it all and I know the names.

Our goal has to be to fill the 4 spot with a player that fits better than what we have. If we can't get JO or Odom or KG then we should probably be patient and hold off on anything major.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

SMH. He said Howard is going to make 15 million, which is 6 million more then 9.5million. Your not even trying to hide your pure hate anymore.........

That's not going to happen for a few years. By which time, Eddy will opt out and 'demand' to be paid.

This isn't about whether Curry is good or not-

This is about realism.

I don't see our missing piece on the horizon.

KG, JO? Please, more broken/old as heck former star players.

We're a superstar away from winning anything. Without picks, that isn't happening.

We're going to be just good enough to earn late picks that won't help.

And in 2010, we owe utah our pick with no restrictions- that is probably when we'll be top again in the lotto.

Justifying Curry by focusing solely on your future hopes for him rather than anything he's actually accomplished in his six seasons.
