My god! I just noticed that Eddy wasn't even in the top 150 in rebounding per 48 min. Now some of those players had very low mpg but that's still ridiculous for an athletically gifted near 7 footer.

Just to add to that:
-He's 388th in assists per 48. The other players in that territory are guys with very small offensive roles on their teams.
-408th in steals.
-183rd in blocks.
-411th in assist/TO ratio

He's got a LONG way to go before his strength even cancels out all of his weaknesses.

Eddy is our guy. He is there for a reason.
He is going into category of offensive highlights for MSG broadcasting.
He specilized in Dunks, post moves and working on his 3-point shots...
We also have some other guys specilized in:
Cross-over tricks and Miracle shots (craf)
Hacking/wacking and eating a lodes of burgers (Big Snuck)
Driving and making chip shoes (Marbs)
Crying on TV and sitting on scorers table(Steve)
Showing clown tricks with losing the ball (Jeffries)
Small people also can jump high and kick ass..s(Rob)
Other clowns still developing their skills. If they will not be able to do anthing special we will need to trade them for some guys from Globetrotters...

BTW, Thomas biggest mistake maybe not doing that Boozer trade. He looks like the best player on that court not name Deron Williams.

neck and neck with not doing Crawford for Carter

Great find. Awful. Curry's defense reminds me of Travis Knight's offense.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Post a link that Crawford for Carter was on the table.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Thomas made it clear that he would live or die by his man. Too bad Dolan didn't see this.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Travas probably averaged much higher in those catagories than cheeseburger did.

im not a huge fan of curry but even i dont make such degrading comments regarding him...

Calling him names like cheeseburger and saying that he constantly eats is getting downright ridiculous. You guys crack on him as if you have a personal vendetta against the man.

Some of you guys are making it seem, that Eddy Curry the basketball player is also a terrible person as well. Sure you may not like how he plays and all that, but raking on him as a person and saying o he's eating all the damn time is absolutely terrible. How many of you guys would actually call Eddy Curry a fat, overweight, always eating, lazy and minute basketball player right in front of his face?

you guys may not like Eddy Curry the player, but he was an ironman for the knicks this year, playing in 81 games and averaging 36 minutes a game. Thats far from being fat, overweight and lazy

I agree defensively he sucks, although his man defense improved towards the end a bit. I still think defense comes down to effort..... and instinct. You cant teach effort and instinct. However, you can fine tune your game and hope that as a player you can improve

We been 'hopoing' for lot of things for the last ten years. And all we got was these overrated players. Okay, so Curry isn't a fat, over weight, eating machine. But for 36 a game, for 81 games, he cannot rebound, nor can he play defense and he really can't score 20 or more a game, consistently without Crawford being on the floor with him. I guess we call him those names, because he plays as if he was fat and lazy. We need someone to take it out on. Dolan won't take it out on Thomas and fire him and now guys like starbury have the nerve to ask for an extension? We want blood, we want heads on the platter and notta one thing is being done to make this team better. You can live on hope if you want to. As for me' I'm tired of it and I want to see results in changes on this team. The experiment has failed. At what point do we all speak up against this discrace? Face it. This is the BEST' of Curry. He won't get any better. I been watching this guy since he started in chicago. He's basically the same type of player, who can score a few more points. People still blowing by him, and still to this day, just like 4-5 years ago, he just can't be the kind of reboudner that a big guy like that could be. You and anyone else can blame the record on injuries, but how do any of you explain this team being consistently 5 to 7 under .500 for most of the season? Curry's defense improving towards the end a bit, is far from improvement. I mean REAL' improvement. Eddie Curry, the chicago boy, brought here by another product of chicago may be a little more experienced, he may be a littel better, but basically, I'm telling you's that this guy is basically the same kind of player as when he first came into the league. And what is his one and only greatest play, in the six seasons he's been in the league? The three point game winner that won a game just recently. I think I do' have a right to complain about this guy, short of anymore name calling. Well, I think I can at least call him a bum.
I'll never trust this' team again.

dude i understand your frustration, but its not that serious

curry would look better, if we had a team that actually hid his flaws...like when he was in CHI-Town.

Also, in the end, he started to assert himself more and more, until he was doing it on his own...

im not a huge fan of curry, but, he's had more double doubles this year than before, also, yeah his defense is zero, but he has shown the willingness to get better...

Curry says he wants to be a good player, well we'll see how it goes next season

I am amazed at some of the excuses we get for players like these. Hide his flaws? I mean then, who's anyone fooling who, if that's the case? I also find it very interesting how someone like Curry, or starbury 'exert themselves, when it doesn't really count anymore'! Do me a favor. Take Curry 'the person' out of this equation. Now look at the basketball player and tell me truthfully, do you like what you see? I mean you said your not a big fan and that his defense is zero, but your biggest gift to Curry is that he is willingness to get better? This is why I would like you to exclude the person here. So with that, I would have to describe this as 'he's willing, but at the same time he sucks'? Did I get that wrong?

I think we fans need to ask 'ourselves' some serious questions about what we think quality and real talent is, before we address the possibilities.
I'll never trust this' team again.

nah man, im with you, im just not as hostile....

i like the eddy curry that we saw in memphis on the 1st game, they way eddy curry should play every game dropping 17/14 and 3 blocks

if we got htat from him consistently all of us would be happy...

but like u said, he isnt consistent...and thats the bothersome part
