duncan missed 4 point blank layups yesterday and it had nothing to do with the nuggets defense, he will continue to get his shots and those High % shots will fall, and there will be nothing nene or the beanpole known as camby can do about it!

Duncan has what? three rings...... He can get by the likes of camby and nene..

LOL did you even listen to his post game comments? He said Camby's length and Nene's physical play was giving him problems.

Duncan won't make excuses, he is a classy guy, but he knows he is getting the shots he wants with ease....

... Where did you get that from? He obviously said quite differently.

I hate when people resort to the "well, the guy would never admit that" excuse when they get pwned in a discussion.

Yeah no kidding like he's the right side of his brain or something. It came from Duncan's own mouth and the guy looked dead serious when commenting on his game performance and disappointed he didn't adjust well enough.

Then again this is coming from a guy who's ragging on Dirk right now as being a soft jump shooting power forward(probably true) saying his style of play will never lead to a championship but defends this perennial 30win team and many of it's players game after game until he's blue in the face. Talk about Asss Backwards.

At least Dirk can hang his hat on WCF and Championship appearances

Wait a fan of a team that has a core that consists of Eddy BigMac Curry, Jared fish lips Jefferies, Channing Shye, and Francissy is daring to call another player soft? Whats that old adage "those in glass houses should not cast stones"

don't act like a *****, either jump in that thread and make your point, not try to pot shot like a little jail sissy.... come one. It is about winning championships, dirk is now being put on that level, it is put up or shut up. dirk is a very good player, but his style, as a big man is not going to lead his team to a finals championship..... If it does, then I am completely wrong, but I don't think so...

so you are telling me, you expect duncan to be shut down the rest of the series? Man up now and tell me if you think that nene and camby are going to stop duncan. You won't.. this is silly, Duncan is a 3 time champion, he defeated the likes of shaq, rasheed and Ben wallace, I don't think that nene and camby are going to be any more of a challenge. regardless what tim said.... Tim is a professional, and although he was played well, he will somehow manage to get by the stonewall defense of camby and nene....

Please, shouldn't me rooting for a team full of soft players then make me an expert on identifying soft players? So I have every right to speak on the matter then...

I never made a comment that he would be shut down the entire series. But you were denying that he was shut down in game 1, which is ridiculous. He was! And he admitted it! Why are you so adamantly denying what is plain as day?

Btw, I do think Camby and Nene causes serious problems for Duncan in the series, but I never said he'd get 'shut down'.

Well you jumped in this thread after a valid point was made that ISAYUGH shot a load to get a $30mil dollar scrub with a trade kicker when he most likely had a more resourceful player on the team he let go. It's your personal right to feel Matt Barnes is a scrub but his career stats and salary compared to Jeffries on a per min basis say he's no less of a scrub than Jeffries is. Scrubs usually don't see crunch time minutes in meaningful games with the game on the line. Why can't you give Barnes credit, the dude has worked his Azzz off after being craped on by many teams/GM's. You're quick to call Barnes a scrub but quick to defend this team, that doesn't make sense to me that's all.

And if you don't defend this team until your blue in the face give a quick breakdown of where this team/players are at right now and where they are headed.

I jumped in because it is silly to try and nit pick Isiah for such a move. How long has matt barnes been in the league? and how many starts has he had prior to the knicks? I think someone clearly pointed that out to you. 18 starts in what 5 years and 4 different teams, something like that. Jarred jeffries was also on a playoff team, guarding one of the best players in the league, during a big playoff series. Jeffries also took his team to a collegiate finals game. Did we overspend for Jeffries? hell yea, but to bring up matt barnes, a career bench scrub is ridiculous. Now I am not going to argue weither matt barnes is good or not, it is not even worth the keystrokes, but your point is ridicuous and it is nitpicky. If anything talk about how Isiah let the tempermental larry brown talk him into trading ariza and pennys expiring deal for francis, who is 10 years older and makes 15 mil a year more than ariza who is a nice part of orlando's core... Instead you focus on matt barnes? hell I hate we let matt carol go a couple of years ago!!!!!

Well I think this is the point I'm getting at. ISAYUGH doesn't have the eye to know who the important role/scrub players could be on this team. You don't let the Arizas, Barnes go to replace them with Jeffries and Francises. And for all this collecting of talent it means nothing if you don't have a clear cut vision in place you see Don Nelson made the talent work and is making Barnes become a household name because he has a vision.
