It's good news. Not great news, but good news.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I think a backcourt of Steph, Craw and mardy is a solid 3 guard rotation. I don't anticipate winning any titles with Steph anytime soon so for now that backcourt will do. I would try to use Nate in a trade to bring in a bigger shooter, 2 way player, shotblocker or vet backccourt precense. Then you look to replace Marbs with a ball distributor or defender(depending on how Mardy develops) over the next few years.

As for Clyde working with Mardy. It's news that's all. Kind of like all the talk about lifting weights and coming in camp in shape. And this guy shooting 700 jumpshots a day over the summer. Get ready for the offseason workout hype machine guys. We'll be hearing how great guys looked in their workouts over the next 4 months.
I just hope that people will like me

Pretty much. I think it comes with being a bad team though, and being bad for so many years. We the fans are just sick of it, and see a glimmer of hope and pray to dear God that it's something that leads to bigger and better things. Then when we see them starting to play games in the exhibition, we see the fun play of some of the young guys and get hyped about that too, but don't pay attention to the overall play of the team, and I think that's what massages the homerism. Then you see the team play in the regular season, and the wins and losses start counting, and you just realize it's more of the same crap.

With the winning teams, it's the same routine every year until it's time to rebuild. You don't get excited about anything. You just want your team to do good enough to get a good seed to compete for the championship. You don't care what your players are doing in the Summer, b/c it's your off season too, and the Summer leagues are even a waste of time. You expect everyone to come into camp shape, and it's an utter disgrace if people don't come into camp at their brightest and shiniest. Just be prepared to compete for a championship. I have faith you will, I know you will and I'll enjoy my Summer, knowing that you'll be good to go.

That's a great point. We will spend the next few months hoping that guys come to camp in shape. While some of the better teams aren't really worried about it. It's their duty to come to camp in shape. I just don't get into the hype. Heard it all before. This isn't someone jaded. It's just reality. We see the same things every summer, at some point you take it for what it is.

My roommate in college had this long asse article written about him in the Hartford Courant. It talked about his family life, how close he was to his mother and how he had dedicated the next season to her. They went on to detail his workout schedule which included a god awful amount of sprints and 700 shots a day.

The reality was, he hated his mother. Hadn't talked to her in a year or so. Talked about her like a dog. His offseason workout consisted of 12 beers a night at Huskies, 3-4 joints a day and sleeping on the couch. When they said 700 shots a day, they meant 700 shots a summer. Now because he had the metabolism of a cat he was able to lose some weight over the summer and actually looked like he came into camp in great shape. Unfortunately 700 shots over the course of the summer was not enough to improve his jumper. We read the papers, we swear we know about them. But we really do not know how hard they worked until the season actually starts.
