Two way players who NY should go after this summer:
(more than just offense to their repetoire game)

Kevin Garnett
*everyone's top dog this summer.

Jermaine O'Neal
*2nd nba top dog this summer.

Marcus Camby
*not offense but can score & his D is missed!

Elton Brand
*This allstar is not available but if LA fails playoffs again who knows?
Healthy clippers underachievers

Omeka Okufor
*MJ says he's not available; Gonna be good soon. We need shotblock mindset big guy here badly

Ron Artest
*Marbs? NO; YES I'd give up Frye+Curry for Mr. Artest and Miller.

Zach Randolph
*hardworker on bad team. Wouldn't give up these guys in Curry,Marb,Lee,Mardy,JCraw.

I'd involve few other knicks or draft picks? for Randolph

I'd only deal Curry for Randolph if we can get some draft pick in return.

IF we had those two we'd start to look like Krause's Bulls for sure!

There are rumors that Denver is thinking about dumping Camby for salary cap reasons and Hilario's recent emergence.

I think it's a mistake for them, but if the rumors are true, we could probably package some of our young role players. They'd probably take a package starting w/ Mardy & Balkman for Camby. Mardy's the big PG you need when you use Iverson, and they need some beefier defenders on the roster when they start Anthony/Iverson/Blake).

Yeah, given our projected upside for our two guys, it seems like a lot for a 30+ year old, injury-prone guy. But accomplished 6'11" shotblockers who can run and put up an almost gauranteed double-double every night they step on the floor are in short supply and high demand.

Ben Wallace got a ton of money - and he was older, much shorter (even WITH THE FRO), and much less skilled offensively than Camby.

The issue really comes down to giving our young players a chance to improve and grow into roles, or using them as chips to get established veterans who are already doing all that.

We have 7 sub-25 players on our roster right now. I bet 4 of them will not be Knicks in 2 years. It doesn't make sense to carry so many players who doesn't have enough PT to succeed.

Denver has to make some moves. Maybe they'll want to get younger. I would love a c/pf rotation of Curry, Camby, and Lee.
Camby is the exact player that needs to be alongside of Curry! I don't care if he misses 20-25 games either. We have the depth. We would be a 45-50 win team regardless if we get a real 2 guard.

C Curry
F Camby
F Q Rich
G Collins
G Marbury

6th Lee
7th Crawford
8th Balkman
9th Jeffries

hey I like the looks of this lineup. If I can deal Jeffries + James for some draft picks that would make me happy too. I am into giving 1st yr knicks a chance, So Jeffries can come back and we'll see where he fits. NY cant dump Jeffries contract anymore than JJames.

Truthfully the only way to make a camby to ny trade is on playstation or whatever game console you prefer.

knicks are gonna have to pawn off francis to a team like Atlanta, clevland, lakers, clipps, etc. Francis clearly wants to be able to score. All those teams could use him. Knicks need to pick up a servicable player and waive whatever fillers they get. Knicks need to pawn frye.

Other than those two guys who do the knicks have to trade? Everyone else was injured and will be nursing injuries this summer.

All the knicks can do is eliminate the weak links. That's frye and francis. Fill those voids with guys that can get it done. With that alone and another year of being together this team can probably make some good noise next year.
