And this is what I keep saying, keep bringing up, I realize, is the fact of 'all of these injuries'. No ones questioning why? Why did we have so many and why are our young players having them? What's going on with that? Yeah, I agree, we'd probably be somewhere around 40 if. So the injuries? What about that? What's going on here? Did Zeke really' do a good job? Did his staff really do a good job? Was his players conditioned correctly, are they being conditioned correctly? I mean it's very noticeble to me. See what um saying?

I think I do: Isiah Thomas is responsible for David Lee's bone Bruise, Marbury's tendonitis, Q's back problems, and Crawford's stress fracture. had he only been a better coach, they would not have gotten injured.

At the same time, if Dolan hadn't extended Isiah's contract, they would have won more down the stretch despite the injuries Isiah inflicted upon the team.

By the way, I think Eddie Jordan has done a terrible job, causing injuries to Arenas and Butler just when they are poised to make a dent in the playoffs, wouldn't you agree?

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

IMO, the whole idea that the team tanked because IT got an extension defies logic. This team was fighting for a playoff spot, but they suddenly did not care because IT got his extension. Don't let your hate delude your thinking. This team lost games because of: 1) injuries to key players; 2) reliance on inexperienced players in Balkman and Collins, who played better as the season went on but made rookie mistakes; and 3) the lackluster play of Frye and Jeffries, both of whom we needed to step up but both of whom failed to meet expectations. The extension had nothing to do with the record.

The extension had nothing to do with the record...
Very true. Extension had nothing to do with anything. Mr. Dolan likes Mr Tomas.
IT is funny, respectable, frendly, and smart. Why not to extend the guy?
Look on other guys - Lenny, Larry, etc. Old, annoing, always demanding something... Terrible...
Soon Mr Dolan and Mr IT will be able to wactch the game at the garden without this terrible Knick fans too. Only true fans will be welcome.
Nixluva, oohah, and TheGame will be always welcome. Free dinner for all to come see the Knicks game

Hmm, well then, the extemsion had nothing' to do with the record? Huh. Agreed that the injuries had some to do with losses, but yet the team that was out there against Toronto was good enough to lose by only two, right? Hmm, I just don't know about this?

You know something? I can just look at what you said in another perspective, if you don't like the perspective I've been putting out there already, then how about this one? Everything you said, in response to my long explanation, your only proving then that 'you, me and everyone' on this board 'cannot' prove a damn thing either way. With all of these injuries, we are to believe that it might of been better? How much better, seeing that we spent the entire season under .500, even with a full, healthy team for most of the time? We hit the 8th spot just once and suddenly we could have made it, if we weren't injured? I can only agree with that, if' the Crawford-Curry combo was on the floor full time. I cannot hit my point all the way, because I have to accept the fact that we have had injuries (you hold it to me), and that it wasn't' the extension, so now what? Then I'd have to say that this is the biggest coincidental team I have ever seen and yes' I do care, because this is what we have and I see no improvement 'again'! You and others like yourself, who defend bad breaks, and not' poor team quality and poor management on this team, cannot prove your point completely either! None of us can prove a thing. So we're stuck again.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Why should we believe that the team would suddenly have gone into the tank in the manner that they have since the injuries? The knicks were on a gradual and STEADY rise in winning %. With each month the team got better since the beginning of the season. THE ONLY thing that changed was the injuries. Now this isn't to say that this team didn't have problems all along that they hadn't solved. We all know what this teams major weaknesses have been. That's a different argument. What we're talking about here is whether this team flaws and all would have won enough to make the playoffs. IMO there's a very strong likelyhood that they would.

None of this is important anymore. Only what this team does over the summer and next year. We've learned a lot from this year so it wasn't a waste like last year.

Nix, I hope you agree with me that we are talking small time peanuts here. We're talking about a team who almost got the 8th spot, while being under .500, in one of the crapiest Divisions known to the NBA. I'm just don't get all excited about things like that. It's hurting my soul.
I'll never trust this' team again.
