If I ever get to run anything, I'm going to hire the IT supporters as my PR team. Because I will never have to do anything right, ever.

That's a good way to put it!

EnySpree - one of the challenges the NYK coaching staff needs to figure out is what to so with the David Lee - Channing Frye Superfriends Frontcourt Combinaiton. Can Frye's confidence and game be rebuilt?

of course it can

This is going to be key because I suspect that unless IT gets a great deal, Frye will be coming back next season and we need him to find his offense and confidence.

(Mailk) Rose contended this club didn't handle prosperity, and he sensed not enough players taking losses hard enough. Rose said that attitude was a function of "youth, immaturity and inexperience."

"It wasn't a season-long thing but there were times we didn't take the losses as hard as other people," Rose said. "They have to learn to care that much more. You really have to care."

"Improving on the defensive end, perimeter and post, we have to get a lot better on the defensive end," Rose said.

Despite Rose's reservations, he does believe the Knicks have a potentially bright future.

"The Knicks are headed in the right direction," said Rose, who doesn't fit into the future plans and will be shopped. "With a guy like Curry down there, it's a good nucleus."

Realistically these knicks just came off the worst season in franchise history probably. Nobody thought they would do anything. So what is the problem?

This is very untrue. Most people predicted them to win between 35-38 games. But here is how it shakes out

Haters-Predicted 35-38 wins, thought that'ws were the Knicks talent should lead them and held them to that standard throughout the season.

Lovers-Predicted 35-38 wins, but really didn't beleive that the team was capable of winning that many games and held them to a lower standard all year long. Often making excuses and trying to lower expectations at every turn when the "haters" refused to lower theirs. Often making quotes like "noone expected them to do anything". No the "haters" actually expected them to win 35-38 games and when they played below that standard they got on the team.
I just hope that people will like me

^ Thanks, Bip. As usual, a good post. I wish more people would listen, because you are one of the best posters on this board. Nice work and makes perfect sense to me.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Remember when all the "Lovers" said that last year's team should have been at least a .500 team, if not for that debil Larry Brown?

Well this team added Jared "The Glue" Jeffries, Balkman and Collins to a group that was happy happy joy joy about having Isiah as coach but are going to finish 32-50.

So now of course the "Lovers" say they had LOWER expectations this year than last.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Yep and this is a flat out lie. Plenty of Lovers this yr had the team winning considerably more than 40gms. Nixluva had them winning 45, 46 if everything went right. Many more had them above .500 after 25gms before the season got underway. Now as usual back to their go to move which is backpedaling.
