As With all of our young players, this time has provided a great opportunity to see what they've got. Isiah has been all over Nate and it may be paying off. We'll see if he can keep it up. No one denies his talent. It's his maturity level and self control that we want to see improve. If he could also be just a bit more team oriented and look for setting up his teammates, no one would have a problem with keeping him. If he can't learn to do those things, then we may see isiah use him in a trade this summer.

Wait Isiah jumped all over Nate for something. Why aren't you calling him a hater??????

I just hope that people will like me

I'm glad Nate's stepping up. He's still an occasional loose cannon, but has been maturing since he's gotten more burn.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Pietrus is 6'7 and can play defense, nate is 5'7 and doesn't play any. hopefully this ups his value and we can move the guy. Nate scores we lose for the most part, he is really not a good lockeroom personality.

If we can find a way to package jamal, morris, frye for something good than nate is a good asset off the bench, but you need to move a lot of these guys that have personal agendas other than winning

MS, Pietrus is 6'7 but has no impact. Pietrus has not help the Warriors win anything neither. He has no agenda but is he motivated to play in the league? He came into the league with comparisons to MJ but never lived up to anything like that. His defense is overrated. He is a SG that just broke double digit ppg (under Nellie), only manage to grab 4 rpg on a offensive minded team, his assist numbers are bad, he improved his FG % this year because he drives more. At this point in time, I would say that we could get alot better than Pietrus. I am with MCK1, I would go after McCants who has a true upside.

McCants sucks, just what we need here a guy with loads of talents that plays when he wants. Defense is not really all that overrated especially when you see the impact collins and balkman have, if we could get a guy like pietrus cheap i would do it wouldn't throw the farm at thim.

Your playing with a lot more scorers in gs, but nate can score there is no debating it. But he is only useful if crawford is off this team, we can't have two guards that are out of control and turnover prone. Nate is a much more efficient three point shooter. Nate is not really popular with his teammates from what i have heard, but if we play him 20 minutes a night and let him be more of a spot up shooter i think thats fine. I thought isiah should have used him as an iverson off the bench running multiple screens to get him open.

I believe the knicks have to do something to get acquire another player and a morris, frye, crawford package could be enticing to teams

Dam, I missed the game, but it looks like Nate had another decent performance. 24pts and not much else. Shot 45% or so.
Anybody that watched the game have any comments?

He was cool as usual
I guess he gives no dmm for which of two teams he plays.
If the rules will permit he can play for both. He will produce double points and double turnovers
He is the next reason after popcorn why people still come to watch basketball

He had two turnovers.

And he's averaging just over 1 the last 6 games.

Maybe you are talking about the Nate earlier in the year...
