I agree...And he certainly is the ultimate teammate..he just has some off court agendas..

and he is a good character guy..

I don't think Dolan will go for it. Since his experience with Sprewell, I think Dolan made up his mind that we're not going after head cases.

Well obviously it's the baggage! No one would have a problem with him otherwise. We should've had him in the 1st place. I'll never forgive Tapscott for that one.

Hey, Latrell Spreewell worked out well.

I'd be more than happy to send a bunch of crap to Sacramento for this head case. Package even more crap with someone like David Lee for Jermaine O'Neal. Trade even more crap for with the Seattle duo for Ray Allen.

But no, the Knicks will pursue the most mediocre player on the market for the full MLE.

I don't like that idea very much. Why should we go in that direction, when we have a group of players that have a long career ahead of them? I prefer to be a bit more patient with this young roster. I'd rather draft a SF/SG who can hit from 3 and defend. See what we can do to bring in players that fit what we're trying to do. Jason Kapono will be available I believe. With his kind of stroke from out side he could help a lot. To me that wouldn't be a waste of the MLE or a part of it.

Signing ANY player to the MLE would be hinder this franchise chances at getting below the cap when Marbury comes off the books. I like Kapono but 1. I doubt Miami lets him go 2. he loves it there

sometimes you have to take a chance. artest and isiah get along, artest would be home again. they wont improve if they dont roll the dice.
