I am not blinded by hate, I just see a big difference in defense. We are giving up only 91.6 since crawford went down. While we used to give up 100pts, whether that has something to do with Lee not being in there i doubt it, but we obviously need another scoring option. Isiah jumped the gun as usual and give the kid a 7year deal where he is making 10.5 in the last year of his deal. He also took on jerome williams deal and signed vin baker for the privledge of brinign the kid in.....

Let me break it down for you:

Mem 4-22 18%
Atl 1-8 12%
Ind 2-9 22%
SAS 3-8 38% 3tos
Hou 7-20 35%
Was 1-6 17% 3tos
Bos 1-6 17%
Tor 4-13 30%
Mem 0-8 0% 3tos
Was 4-14 28%
Bos 5-17 29% 3tos
At 3-10 30% 4tos
Den 1-9 11%
Uth 6-26 23% 4tos
Phi 9-23 39% 5tos
Lac 2-8 25% 5tos
Sea 8-26 30% 5tos
Phi 4-12 33% 3tos
Cha 4-13 30% 3tos
Sac 3-11 27% 3tos
NjN 3-10 30%
Mil 9-24 37% 4tos
Lal 5-15 33% 4tos
Orl 1-4 25%
Gsw 3-10 30% 3tos
PHi 3-12 25% 5tos
Mil 5-15 33% 4tos
NJN 4-15 26%

Just for the record since i am blinded by hate thats 28 games when he was horrendous and thats not taking into account his defense.

Still off base on this one?

I think Jamal is erratic. I think he hurts us some games without a doubt. I also think there have been games that would have been all but over if he did not shoot us back into them. I also think there have been games that he has actually won for us by being as tough as nails down the stretch. And I think there have been games we've lost because he and the rest of the crew won't play d. To me at this point in his career he is a 0 sum player. He takes away as much as he gives. But geez guy, he aint as bad as you make him out to be. When I look at this roster I see about 5 or 6 guys that are just like him. He ain't to blame for the record. Do I want him as my starting SG? no. Would I have signed him? No. I'd much rather have a defensive minded all around SG. But you make the guy out to be a bumb, and I think that's inaccurate. I also think it's inaccurate to say that our 5-10 record without him actually has nothing to do with him and everything to do with Q and Lee. They all have an effect.

From the beginning of the New Year until the day Jamal got injured we went 13-12. Taht obviously had something to do with everyone on the team except Jamal. We are an average team and no single player will have a major effect on our roster either way.

Get bent, (P)MS!

Jamal Crawford is doing a little more each day, but he’s not running yet. “I wish we had a cardboard cutout of him that we could just place out on the floor because I know they would guard that,” Thomas said. “When you see him, it kind of reminds you of what you’re missing. You long for him.”

Marbury doesn't get enoug free throws

We are injured

Jamison and Arenas get the big bucks, we can't guard them

We have to make another player an All-Star besides Eddy

The Fans don't see what I see

Its the crowds fault

JJ is the glue guy, judge us when we are whole

Jefferies can become a ron artest type defender

Its crazy enough it just might work

Meat and Hot Sauce

Its the free throw shooting, the little things

I knew when we traded for q he would need surgery

So that means in his 30 other games he shot 40 percent from the field and still has an 40 percent average????? That was your words.

I'm pretty sure Queen or DJ has the stats some where because they posted them before, but after starting badly at the start of the season coming off the bench to play behind Francis then JJ2 for 22 games (where most of the bad games you listed came from), JC started the next 36 games and the knicks were 18-18. He averaged 21 points on 42percent shooting, 5 assist, 4boards and 1 steal per game abouts and you want to come up with Collins better then JC??? Collins is giving us that, Hell NO!!! The Teams been giving up 91.6 since JC left, but 11 of the 15 games he was replaced by Francis. Who was Lee replaced by for 18 games???? Who the Hell was Q replaced by for 12 games?!?!?!? YOu think they had more to do with the D then FING FRANCIS!!! HMMMMM!!!! Balkman/Rose/JJ2 vs Francis/Nateand collins for 2 games. I CAN"T DECIDE WHO HAD MORE OF AN IMPACT ON THE TEAMS DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smh.....

Collins>>> JC, only to Crackheads, people with downSyndrome and ____________.

In games that Mardy has played more than

10 minutes we are 4-9
15 minutes we are 3-7
20 minutes we are 1-6

In games in which he's played more than
10 minutes he's shot 38.6%
15 minutes he's shot 38.8%
20 minuets he's shot 36.4%

In the past 5 games when he's been entrenched in the rotation he's averaged
7.0 pts, 3.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, shot 35.9% and a 2-1 assist to turnover ratio(on par with Crawford's career numbers)

Mardy has potential but to say this guy is better than Craw right now because he plays some d but ignoring the horrible shooting and absolutely no impact(actually a negative impact on winning) is a little biased I'd say. Admit it, you hate Jamal.

Only thing Ive said is you got to come up with better players if you want JC gone the Mardy and the Matt Carrols of the world. And wouldn't the team have been better playing Mardy and Balkman with JC/Marbury/Curry most of the season then getting sudo defense from QBert plus JJ2 bumbling all over the place............... All i'm saying.

Matt Carrol another backup that people like to bring up. I'm sorry but unless I see Carrol getting his own shot, center of the offense, running the offense for as the point for half the game and chasing around the others teams smallest player.............. Im going to have to pass on him. Who is going to pass this guy the ball off those screens???? Marbury can't hit the biggest man on the court with his man on his back in a postion to score , but he is going to learn to make cross court passes to a shooting guard being chased???? Yeah, that's going to work.

See this is where we disagree. We don't need another shot-creator playing alongside Marbury. We need a spot up shooter with range to bail he and Curry out.

Steph drives the basket, kicks it out to Crawford/Francis wide open with 2 seconds on the clock, the first thing either guy does is dribble through his legs 8 times.

Steph Drives the basket, kicks it out to Carroll or K Martin wide open with 2 seconds on the clock and the ball goes up. And they will shoot a higher percentage and play better D than Crawford.

Don't get stuck on the names. What I am saying is whoever the shooting guard is, he needs to be a "shooting guard" not a "dribbling guard".

Uh, according to Glen Via DJ we need a Point Forward to play with marbury, but I guess he probably ment Matt carrol would be just as good.... I totally agree. SMH
