it looks like frye's game has been sacrificed this season so that eddy could be made the focal point of our offense. frye has been relegated to jump shooting duty for a majority of the season. if you were the head coach of this team, who would you feel more comfortable with as the focal point of the team...frye or eddy?
frye
eddy
neither

I voted Frye because he's not a turn over machine.

Running an offense through someone implies they set things up- attack or pass.

I think with Frye, he could score 20 a night like curry- but without the gaudy percentage and the many turnovers.

I take Curry. I am getting impressed with some of his arsenal and that little baby hook he is developing can be a devastating move if developed. I still believe he needs to improve his defense to be a franchise guy, though

Frye reminds me too much of Brad Lohaus.

I would go with Frye he has a good outside game and Decent inside game if he used it more
Curry just try to bull his way and get basket

Last year 36% of his shots came from inside and he hit a high percentage of them. He's an effective low post player when fat Eddy's not clogging the post.

Bonn, the reason you've only seen him in flashes in the post is because he doesn't have the body or the mental makeup to play in post for more than flashes. Theres a reason only 36% of his shots came from in there.
He can shoot a jump hook with either hand with a high release. How can anyone gaurd that in single coverage?

Bonn, my argument is NOT about what he can do in the post, he has shown a nice hook shot in the post, thats great. My argument IS that Frye wouldn't last a full game playing in the block because he doesnt like to take a pounding. The guy like to play on the perimeter for a reason. It was the same thing in college with him and he was playing in a guard oriented conference where he was the biggest guy on the court nearly every night.

Yeah but it took 6 YEARS of babying Eddy to the point where he'd have the confidence to play aggresively (on offense) in the post. I think Frye would respond if you babied him too and probably quicker.
