HOw does MOnta ellis fill anything the knicks need out of a point guard??? And if JC played in Nelly ball he would be averaging way more then Eillis in points, assist & steals so why???
first of all, calling ny lacking in youth movement, monta at 22 is a great pickup compared to jamal at 27. this kid plays with the kind confidence if something would happen to starbury, you would not have to worry about him not showing up. and only his second year.....w-a-t-c-h o-u-t.
with nate and craw in this trade, and stevie looking to be traded in the off season.....picking up monta makes sense
secondly, trading frye should be for the likes of a j-rich or a kg for example. and if trading jc gives that much value to nelly and his system...please pull the trigger zeke. as a bonus, nelly gets nate.
if you dont like this line-up, that's ok.....im not going to lose any sleep if zeke keeps frye next year
