In front of J KIDD, you're kidding right.

you said he makes his teammates better... what's he shown you this year that justifies your comment? great college basketball players don't always make for great NBA players... see Trajan Langdon, Dan Dickau, JJ Redick, etc.

So... why hasn't Jason Collins benefited from lots of open looks and easy baskets as a result of other teams doubling up his elite perimeter teammates?

I don't think Kidd has made Collins any less of a stiff.

Collins is completely left unguarded on offense, & whatever points he does manage to get are usually off wide open looks from midrange when his man doubles down on 1 of the big 3... even then he can only manage to shoot 37% from the field... Collins is a stiff because he's a stiff, not because he isn't benefitting from playing alongside Kidd, Vince & RJ... how much do you think Mikki Moore is benefitting from playing alongside Kidd, Vince & RJ? is it Marcus Williams that's making him a better player, or those other 3?

Keep watching the nets and Marcus Williams will silence his critics.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I just hope in next year's draft we target a player based on what we will look like 2-3 years from now and not based on what needs a Stevie Francis/Marbs/Nate backcourt looks like today. We should not be building based on current needs. Most of our guys will not be here. Find your star player or style that you want to build and build around that/him with players that fit. Willy nilly just helps you to change the roster every 2-3 years like we are about to again.
I just hope that people will like me

i'm not a Marcus Williams critic, let's just get that straight... holding off on pre-judgements until i see more of a sample is not the same as criticizing the guy.

Boone with another strong game. 22 points 11-13 FG 10 rebounds. Maybe nets finally realizing the guy has soft hands and nice touch around basket.

he's a little bit of an under rated athlete with very long arms and a nice touch around the basket. I know he missed 1/2 the season with injury but I thought he would be a nice fit there--i think its all about fit with some players and almost any player is better than jason collins.

No, I just don't eat up hype like some folks.

Marcus Williams is Jamal Crawford. All bad shots and alley oop passes, no defense.

But can he throw the ball off the backboard in traffic and dunk it twice a year?
