I gotta admitt I'm supplement whore. I have tried a lot of pills and drinks to see if I can get and edge.

Side effects! Sheesh!

Fat burners depress the hell out of me. They warn you about anxiety on the label and they wasn't lying. Funny **** is they do everything they say they will, good or bad.

I'm big on vitamins. I work nights and I reciently discovered vitamin D. I don't see the sun much especially in the winter so I kinda need extra vitamin D. Its helped my general well being and my mood. I recommend them to vampires that rarely see the sub like me, lol.

Nitro-tech protien powder by muscle tech is probably the best protien powder you can take. Its expensive but it does what it says it does. It contains creatine and is loaded up with amino-acids so you gotta drink your water. Its on the expensive side but its the best. I recomend it.

I reciently purchased NO-xplode which is a nitric oxide supplement. I did a lot of research on nitric oxide snd just decided to try it. It guarentees bigger pumps and I seriously agree. You feel diesel hours after your workout. You take it before you workout and end up attacking it like a bird of prey. I've been using it for a week now. I freakin love it. It doesn't make you hyper or nervous. It just makes you focused and just pumped up to do your work. Its the boost I needed. I just don't recommed you take it if you are gonna workout before bed. I'm up right now feeling like I should be playing basketball not than sleeping. The product rocks so far. I recommend it if you need that boost. Its very expensive by the way.

Endurox excel is something I have taken off and on too. As far as an endurance enhancer, this product is amazing. I'm talking sports here tough guy. The only thing is when you stop taking it you lose your super powers. You can get there the old fashion way but you have to bust your ass.

Its always best to be natural but the stuff I mentioned do exactly what I described. Basic vitamins and natural things are always best too. Nitric oxide is produced in the body anyway and your body needs it to do tons of everyday functions. Endurox excel is vitamin E and a herb called cijuwia(sp?). Google this **** on your own.

Everyone wants to get smaller?! I'm trying to add muscle and get bigger. My lifts have gone up by about 25% in the past 2 months and I've added a little muscle but I'm still a little guy.

I'm down. I have been working 3x a week and am trying to get down to 200 lbs. I peaked at 224 and right now I am at 214. For me I had to cut down on the late night meals and heavy starches.

Well it depends on what guys wanna do. I'm trying to fix my body. I want to get in the best shape of my life. That to me is getting as strong and lean as I can.

Its funny cuz I want to gain weight and lose weight at the same time. I want to gain muscle which heavier than the fat I want to lose.

25% gains? Post your routine and whatever you are taking. I will do the same.

Edit:post your bench max also

I'm doing a 3 fat split. I do chest and tri's one day, back and bi's the next, and legs the last fat and then I repeat and take 2 days off. I have weights at my job so its hard to miss a day. Cardio is the killer. I'm doing 15 minutes when I go. I just started to go consistantly. Its hard as hell to get back into.

I try to do 4 exercises every day i train.

I maxed out 275lbs a month ago on the bench. I haven't played with heavy weight like that in a while. When I bench I don't usually go over 205lbs unless I have a maniac or too there with me.

My legs, shoulders, bi's and gut are my neglected areas. Its good to try and build symetry. Its hard to do that if you have a lot of testosterone around you.

Atkins induction diet. Two weeks, eat less than 20g of carbs a day. You can eat as much as you want each day, as long as 20g of carbs is your total intake. Sprinkle it with some light exercise and you'll lose at least 20 lbs.

It's a great jump start to a normal, healthy weight loss program. Once you start eating normally again you'll jump up about 5-7 lbs, but the rest will stay off for good.

I went from 205.2 to 182.3, then immediately shot back up to 190. Kept it off and started dropping again (until I went back to my regular Wendys/Taco Bell diet). You feel great when the induction diet is over and you're eating normally. During it, you're angry at the world the majority of the time. Absolutely works though.

How do you calculate your body fat?

Some scales will do it for you as well. Not sure how accurate they are, but I'm sure you could at least monitor how much body fat you're losing accurately.

Yeah I'm of the same mind Bonn. I'm 5'8" and 143lbs. I'd like to be 160lbs. The 17lbs I need to gain, I'd like for 15lbs to be muscle. If I work out for 2 weeks I can bench press 225lbs and squat about 330lbs. Right now I can't do it and that's how I know I'm not quite in shape because that's where I was at when I was in high school strengthwise.

I'm 5'5" 140. The weights vary depending on how many sets and reps I do. I change the reps and sets every third week.

Day 1:
Bench press, incline bench press, parallel grip pull downs, reverse rows
Day 2:
ATG squat (no parallel BS; my glutes touch my calves), lying leg curls, barbell curls, and hammer curls
Day 3: Deadlifts, close grip presses (about 10"), upright rows, and decline dumbbell tricep extensions

My lifts are still light, though.
At four reps, my bench press is is 120; deadlift is 175; and ATG squat is 120.
The squat and bp were around 95 and deadlift 135 2 months ago. Your squat goes down by about 40% I'd guess if you go ATG instead of of parallel.

whatever you are taking
I take a variety of biotest supplements: Spike before workouts. Surge during and after. Metabolic drive at times during the day.

Bench pressing 1.5 times your weight is really good! Maybe I can get to that level in about 6 months. I'm guessing you probably have very low body fat.

A friend of mine at the gym deadlifts almost triple his weight. He's about 135 (4.5% fat) and he had SIX 45 lb plates on the bar.

That's ridiculous! Yeah My body fat is super low. I can lose 5lbs playing basketball for about 1 1/2hrs and get it right back the next day eating just 1 meal. My metabolism is way high but at the same time can be very conserve.

So we got some point guards to come out when we have another basketball get together, lol.

We have some atheletes in this forum. You would think there would be some serious porkers being that we all spend so much time posting.
