We have to get some wing players who can defend and knock down the J. It would be interesting to see what Nichols could do if we can get him in the 2nd round. He's basically a bigger Craw with less of the endless crossover moves.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

He's got a nice shot length and body control but he is no 2 Guard IMHO.

Briggs, you're one of the brightest posters here but I'm really curious why you have Frye playing ahead of Lee?

Briggs, you're right that its hard to tell what position he would play. That SU zone makes it tough to tell how good a defender he is.

That doesn't mean that I don't think Lee is the better player. For the good of the team as a whole--it is important for channing frye to be put in a position where he can do his best. Lee is going to produce no matter what. The guy who may have to get smaller minutes over the lONG term is Curry because the guy is out of gas with 20+ the playoffs to go. There are 96 minutes in the 4-5 position--which equals 32 minutes a player for the three--we do need a 4TH[shot blocker] and Lee can play some 3--so more than enough minutes to go around. If Frye plays better a a starter--let him stay there.

I can understand that. I see Frye more as a center, though, and would rather he and Curry split min at C with Lee starting at PF.

Its funny that Eddy Curry who is a tremendous problem needs to be catered to at every position in order to be an effective player

I'd love to get Almond. Sounds like something we need-a shooter who's almost automatic when his feet are set. I wish I could've seen more of him.

almond and williams are my picks too. only thing that worries me is the (issues) on williams' part. hill seems pretty good but kinda lumbers a bit to me.

could we really take another PF, even if he's a shotblocker?

I've never seen so many fans want to build around such a flawed player before. I think it's just because they can't face the frustrating reality that this franchise is screwed. Until 2005, I was one of them.
