last year was the great big bummer for me, not this year. i came into last year swigging some mad koolaid (as in predicted 50 w's - what an a-hole!). i got so thoroughly disgusted with larry, isiah and steph by the end of the season that i never wanted to see any of their faces again.

thsi year i came in swiggin' the hatorade (predicted 30 w's). the one thing that got me truly excited was going to a preseason game with nalod against nj and seeing how freaking good balkman was. but his minutes have been so erratic that that hasn't sustained me. i haven't been able to see as many tv games this year, but have have made it to the garden more often than in recent years. the hookups with the uk crew have been a total blast. win or lose we're gonna be in the bars rehashing it for hours afterward, so that by the time you get home it's out of your system

going to this board helps lighten things up when it gets too depressing. the dramas between the haters and the homers are just too much fun (the "passion of misterearl" thread, as eny put it ) and most of all, the humor on this board is just the perfect antidote to newyorkknicks blues.

Actually I thought the post games drinks with Mrs. Nalod, DJ and the Mystery women was as good a hoot!

Imagine trying to tell ones spouse with these near strangers what a "dido" is and why Bonnie went postal on us for a few months! That was a hoot!

Last game of the Season is in Charlotte and might make or break our playoff. Im thinking of going. Anyone welcome to do a get together?
