Now that Isiah has his extension, does this mean we will see less Curry(and more at the same time)?

Personally, if we're determined to keep Channing Frye (I hope not), I would like to see him relegated to purely backup center. So Curry would start, maybe get say 30 mpg (a more reasonable total for Eddy), and Frye could come off the bench for 18 mpg. Frye has some skills, but he's not an NBA power forward and not starter material. It's time for Isiah to step up, face the reality of the situation and use Frye in the proper role if we're not getting good trade value for him.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Even if we are gonna trade him, we're only killing his trade value by placing him in this role right now anyway. As might as well put him in the right role as backup center. I think he'd play better and his value would go up.

The argument of getting him minutes ONLY works if we have the intention to trade Frye, I agree. The problem is that there's little indication, and knowing Isiah's tendancies about protecting *his* guys, that he intends to trade Frye. So, it's a fair assumption to think that he isn't. If that is the case, Frye should be benched. Agree?

I'd say something like 18 mpg off the bench where he actually is a scoring option in the low-post while Curry's on the bench. I suspect he'd get his confidence back in that role and play better and then I'd give him more min.

I'd like to see him get 20-25 as the backup center for now. As I stated above his jumshot is beautiful and within his range he is our best shooter. He has also shown some limited moves in the post. Because of his size and the fact that he can play down low he is going to demand to be guarded by an opposing center. With the opposing center on the perimeter, this opens things up for our better rebounders(Lee, Balkman, and Q)and better finishers around the basket(lee ang balkman) to do there thing.

Perhaps it is unrealistic to think that Curry will be moved anytime soon. But the one thing I really don't want to have to watch is Curry and Frye playing defense together, with Frye having to guard the pf.

Now that Isiah has his extension, does this mean we will see less Curry(and more at the same time)?
