Posted by nixluva: Actually, there are teams out there hurting more than we are. Look at the Nets for instance: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime?page=dailydime I'll never trust this' team again.

Posted by 4949: Hey man the Nets still have enough to win with. I don't see anyone who would've given us any slack due to injury, so to hell with them and their injuries. Just freaking man up and win. It's funny how Isiah get's crapped on for his moves and yet look at Indy and all the moves Bird has made. Is Orlando really in better shape as a franchise? I mean there are HUGE questions about Boston too. It's just more Hater-aide for Isiah. The guy is working as hard as he can with this team. We know it's not a perfect team. I don't recall anyone expecting it to be this year or last year. It's not about RIGHT NOW! When are the fans gonna realize this. It's not supposed to happen over night. GEEEZ!!! When this season is over we will have at least accomplished a few goals we had in mind to start the year. That's progress and i'm willing to accept it. To say that this team isn't making progress simply because it's up and down is silly. Just remember that while all the other teams have had long win streaks, we never did, but we HAVE been playing at about a .500 clip so we're like the tortoise and the other teams the Hare. They started off strong, but now they're faltering. We're actually getting stronger gradually even with all the injuries. LIke many often say injuries are a part of this, so don't give me that we're being handed anything. The other teams aren't stepping up and we are. PERIOD! |
