Oh yes, let's just blindly root and drink the kool-aid. Those types of "fans" bring so much to the table.

Actually I prefer rooting for whoever plays the Knicks. Chances are I'll be on the winning side more often than not.

isles you are miserable, really a tired miserable act.... I know I can just ignore threads you start and spare myself the eyesore. I guess that is what I will do from now on. what a tired act you have become, and what is sad is that I think you are a better poster than what you have reduced yourself to. well, whatever man...... I wish they had an ignore button on this site...

And the Knicks franchise used to be much better than what Dolan and Isiah have reduced it to.

That's the problem. Not me.

Isle you may be taking a dig at a few fans after a tough loss but Isiah and Dolan is here to stay...So if you are really a Knick fan, you may be in for a few rough years ahead...If I might suggest something, The Nets have good management, a coach I know you would love and the point guard, lets just say he is one of the best ever...But something tells me you might have been on that bandwagon for many years now....

For all of you who think Steph didn't choke...

Can you please define what the word "choke" means to you ? I think that wil further clarify things a bit...

We know he choked at the end of the game, but it still hurts because he played his but off to get us back in the game. We don't need to be constantly reminded that he choked. Because they clearly would have been blown out if it wasnt for him.

What negative? I posted the truth. You just admitted as much.

Truth hurts I guess.

Tonites performance by Starbury really is a microcosm of his career.

Big stats and carries his team still to defeat.

Against a team that was 6-23 heading into the garden.

This game was lost way before Weepbury gasped at the line. We were listless on defense and mailed it in from the line.

Malik looked great tonite, Marbury was the man, and Francis was unstoppable! Why, cuz the team we played sucks!

We lost at the line long before QuoteBury jerked off in the closet with a clothes hanger and gasped that last foulshot. Sorry, 20mil a year to carry a team everyonce in a while is not too much too ask for.

I understand Isles frustration with the team but not to THAT level. It was not an enjoyable game to watch except for the last 2 minutes when it looked like they had the game in hand.

GaspBurys LOOOOONG three point attempt was lame and it appears Isiahs game plan is to let his 37million dollar backcourt take over games and hope for the best.

Basically Marbury played a hell of a game statwise and sure as hell did choke when it counted. I guess tonite he was "all alone".

Could have moved into playoff position tonite.

This team is very soft! God forbid it beat a 6-23 road team and put up a 3 game win streak!

Playoffs? Why bother?

man im hard on this team but u guys are being a little too hard on them tonight.

Steph played great that last shot was a bad one for sure (the 3) but we lost this game in the first quarter and it wasent stephs fault.

You want to point the finger tonight? Ill give you some worthy targets

Eddy Curry - totally non agressive abandoned making quick moves and just waited for the double to get there.. way too many turnovers

Channing Frye - was absolutely useless. This guy is the biggest dissapointment of the season

I was proud of Steph's effort tonight. That was worthy of the knicks and showed me how determined his is to prove the haters wrong. I am just sorry he could not pull it out. You haters need to really evaluate your posts. These players are trying hard but are still young and are going to make mistakes but the team fights and will get better. I think everyone that was at the game got their monies' worth and saw a great game. I am disappointed in the loss, but I am not disappointed in my team. Let's Go Knicks.

steph was hitting timely shots all night. but when you're not getting help you won't win, because as hot as you are, if nobody else helps you score eventually you're going to miss. it always happens.two games ago he had Q to help him pick it up in the 4th, and against Atlanta he had Steve. tonight he just didn't get any help. and i understand curry was getting doubled/tripled every time down but vs NJ it was the same thing and he still managed to get himself open because he was aggressively moving side to side in the paint and just brute forcing guys away from him. he didnt do that tonight, just no aggression.

That ill-advised shot that led to the long rebound did us in. This was a victory and Marbury actually gave it up when he could have dumped it down, so what we take a shot and miss, at least it doesn't lead to a Seattle break where the Knicks (why do you think you're on the floor JJ) ignore a wide open #7.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

SOmehow I knew you'd be here to gloat one this one. You're an @ss.

One of the most entertaining games in at least a week.

Great choke by Starbury. Nice to see they're still heavily relying on a player that will be on the downside of his career when the young guys finally "get it" in 3-4 years.

Where was Curry? The Franchise was nonexistent again. Couldn't even carry the load against Nick Collison.

Frye is a gutless puke passing up open shots all night because he has no balls. Great lottery pick Isiah.

Playoffs? Who cares, it matters like the 2003 playoffs mattered.

Geez Jerkboy, I see you got your panties in a twist there . Steph choked (hillarious). Dude, you're like a flipping Jack- In- the- Box (press the button and here comes the clown).

Honestly, you're like maybe the one or two posters here that can be timed almost to the second with a silly scorched earth response. Isiah is like the bane of your existence. How do you keep it up? Please keep it up because it makes for a quick chuckle.

Now on the other hand i'm proof positive that you don't have a significant other so I do feel the need to offer a suggestion. There's like these humans called "Women" right. They've got features that allow for lots of interesting things that you can't do to a computer (although you might try) Take a chance and try it...you might like it.

Oh, and go outside where the real world exist from time to time. It's good for the soul.

Why exactly is everyone tearing isles to pieces over this?

He's dead on about Frye and Curry.

As to Marbury - he had a great game, yes, but he did choke.
And can anybody deny he'll be on the downside of his career in 3-4 years? No.

So... why the big hissyfit from everyone?

This game was huge, regardless of what IT said beforehand. We couldn't pull it off. Frye and Curry produced nothing. There were about 50 boneheaded mental errors. We didn't even start to play until the second half. For most of the game up to the end we just looked like we didn't want it.

Of course you could go the other route and start making all sorts of excuses as to why we lost and why any criticism about the loss is just ridiculous and hater behavior.

"This is still a young team they're working out the kinks!"
"They played hard its too bad they just couldn't pull it out in the end"
"There was great effort how can you fault them for that?"
"Starbury was great all game just missed a free throw could have happened to anybody"
Blah, blah, blah

That also gets insanely tiresome.

They were playing a team they should have beat, during a game that was very important.
They couldn't pull it off. This is not the time for "almost! you guys are almost there!" and "well hey, last year we would have lost by 10 points! what an improvement!" this is win or we're doing the same thing we've been doing the past several postseasons: nothing.

And yes, there is stuff like this floating all around the boards but its playa, isles and anybody else who is critical of the team that "add nothing to the board. why do they even post here? they should be banned" etc. etc. etc.

hey i'm an "isles fan." dude's harsh but he backs his stuff up, keeps things interesting, has a great wit.

ok, he's a little too fond of making people hate him, but we all have our little quirks, right?
