Yes getting a 25 year old that can stroke the 3, defend and is athletic to improve the defense and space the floor for curry would be a disaster......

What happens if Billups wants more money than the pistons are willing to give, do you think we could try to work a sign and trade.

Marbury, Frye, Nate for a resigned Billups, they have a window that is closing and its not like two years of steph would kill them, and they get two young prospects, its very farfteched

milwaukee is going to offer billups ALOT of money. it's up to detroit to match.

Yep their GM has already gone on record saying he's their #1 target. They have cap room, picks, and tradeable assets that teams actually want.

It could be. Players seem to bad on this team no matter what. See past free agent acquisitions. But I will hold both you and Thomas to blame if doesn't work out.

Last summer I wanted the Knicks to pursue Bonzi Wells. I think it would be worth it for the Knicks to pursue him and Mo Peterson. Put Bonzi at the 3 with Mo at the 2. If Peterson is out the Knicks price range look at a Matt Carroll the Knicks desperately need an consistent outside shooter.

Yeah who was good that we actually brought in....

James, Jefferies, Baker all sucked before they were brought here

Francis suspect at best when he arrived......

Pietrus is actually tradable unlike the other guys and has a chance to keep improving

mo williams is not a point guard. he's a scoring guard. it's a replica of what we already have here.

mo plays defense & makes BIG shots... he's better than Marbury in both aspects... a backcourt of Mo & Jamal would be pretty deadly in crunchtime.

Mo reminds me a little bit of Cassell. He's not a pure PG, but he's starting to do a pretty good job of distributing the ball. I think he'd be a good fit with a playmaker like Crawford.

Throw the entire MLE at Pietrus and Walton.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I would really like to see us get Gerald Wallace. How about Jeffries, Frye, and Nate and cash for Wallace. I think Wallace will command Larry Hughes type money so the bobcats might not want to resign him (although that is doubtful). He is the type of SF that we need.

At least nobody is making a pitch for Earl Boykins. Yuck.

My bet is that is who Isiah throws the MLE at. That frees up to Marbury to play SG, Nate at SF, Craw at PF, Francis at center, and Mardy Collins as our sixth man. The all point guard team dream will come to fruition for Isiah yet. That would also give us five shoot-first point guards, much to Isiah's devious pleasure.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Top Three targets:
DeShawn Stevenson
Mikael Pietrus
Ime Udoka

Guys who defend and can hit the three

If not, split the MLE between Travis Outlaw and Jason Kapono.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

the problem is we have too many players already and we are going to add a first round pick this summer. We have to make a trade to consolidate some of our talent.

1Gerald Wallace makes the most sense for our team. He adds much needed shotblocking upfront, scoring from the baseline, and fulfills a tremendous void at the 3.

2Deshawn Stevenson he is really blossoming at the 2. Is becomming a real threat on both sides of the ball.

3 Travis Outlawhe has the tools to be a very good SF and has the ability to give us much needed shotblocking and rebounding. This kid ia an extraterrestrial athlete.

MLE can be used year after year. Did you forget we used the MLE the year before as well? Its the LLE that you can't use back-to-back.

Oh yea LLE ur right. But if we sign a Wallace, Outlaw, Kapono or Stevenson, what happens to Q Rich, Collins, and Balkman. Shouldn't we develop what we have before we look elsewhere. The free agent pick-ups never workout with us.

Thats because you are buying high on low impact players, let someone else pick up people Q is a question mark we should try to move him asap before his back goes out...

Deshawn Stevenson is a really good shooter.Watch this.
It's funny how this whole world is based on one dummy controlling another, and the leader dummy was chosen by a whole bunch of dummies.

even with the MLE I think Isiah can make a good addition to this roster. he just has to be smart about it. but didn't Isiah say that he probably won't be using the MLE this offseason?
