Visionary - nah, loser is more like it.

Never, ever, NEVER, under any circumstances would I put an ounce of energy wishing the Knicks would lose a single game.

Advocating losing is for losers

I want to loose so the knicks can be saved!

Sometimes the only way to move forward, is to take a step back- reassess things.

So when the score is tied late in the fourth Friday night, you will be hoping the Knicks miss, and the Warriors make? Really? In your heart?

oohah

Of course I want the knicks to win- but, from a long term, what is best for them now stand point- an utter collapse is required to get Isiah gone.

that is one of the most ignorant statements i've heard. if that is truly what you mean then you've been hoping for failure since opening day. atleast say that you don't want them to make the playoffs because you don't want ticket prices to rise.

So we're supposed to be as good as Lenny Wilkens' team. The team whose record wasn't good enough to let Lenny keep his job.

I heard Lenny quit when Marbury started crying and Isiah started bellowing the last time Jamal got injured.

isiah is not getting fired. losing crawford all but guaranteed that.

so the knicks losing serves no purpose to anybody. none.

Only because the GM was stupid enough to think Curry was good enough to give up multiple unprotected lottery picks. Otherwise there'd be a lot of happy campers around here. This team wasn't going to make the playoffs anyway.

Why do you think Zeke did that move with chicago? He's from chicago. I have a theory that zeke may be additioning for a GM spot in chicago and making the moves now. Realize guys, that the worse the Knicks record becomes, the stronger the draft pick will be for chicago.

The only way for Zeke to show he's not trying to do the Knicks in, is to make a lousy pick, to keep chicago from switching it.

Why? I'm hoping it will get Isiah fired. We need an outright collapse for this to have any chance of happening.

If we continue to win one, loose one without Crawford, Dolan can say- wow, what a great job you did without one of your star players.

Second, and this is wishful thinking, Dolan will hire someone smarter than Isiah who, like many of us fans, will realize there isn't a star player on the roster (outside of perhaps Lee) and its time to get under the cap & get younger.

And a collapse would, i think, improve Crawford's value in the league- making him tradeable. I don't need anything really great back- perhaps a future number one and his salary gone. And who knows, maybe the new GM could package Curry & Crawford to some team. Maybe Charlotte & MJ? He has been known to make some bad moves (kwame with the first pick?!).

After last nights loss, its the silver lining I'm focused on and rooting for.

Call me a hater, but I prefer visionary.

This is the annual Knick March Madness! By now we start to hope that we get bad enought to either get a good pick in the draft or we make a big change. Its about hope by this time.

Another year, another hope!

Franco, I understand your post and what you mean. Usually its hope we can draft Greg Oden or Jerry West will come and save us. The ultimate is the "Free Agent mental masterbation" game were we think a player would take a pay cut to play in NYC! OR that one player would be the final piece!

The best we can hope for is that the team actually continues to grow and the youth improve.

Isiah both had a hand in last years debacle and this years evident progress back to mediocrity!

Hey, we are not a phucking disaster like last year, but just a bad team this year. Its evident progress but if one has a brain and looks at the last 4 years its a chart that is not pretty. We won't win 39 games this year, likely not gonna make the playoffs and our Payroll is a massive joke.

The NBA gets to dole out 60million dollahs of our tax money. I think the knick failure at the payroll and the subsequent tax really is a windfall for the league!

The only thing that will come out of this is, Dolan will fail to realize that crawford is a big reason for the teams shortcomings, and when the team turns the ball over less, and doesn't have someone ****ing around with the rock for 15 seconds ever position more people will be involved and we will play better as a team.

Dolan will praise Isiah and give him an extension, Crawford will return to the starting lineup next year to lead us to the lottery, having not improved any part of his game.

Sorry to burst your snot bubble Franco but...

The collapse you wished for, despite multiple injuries, has not been granted. On the contrary, without Quentin, Jamal, Jerome (plantar) and David Lee (quite possibly done for the season) - the Knicks are battling.

Good for them.

Sad for you.

Same here holfresh. I cannot root for my team to lose. I really doubt this will change anytime in the future.

Atleast when we had a lottery pick to fall on, losing didn't hurt so bad. What's the point now?
