Just read it one of the papers and then saw it on real GM.

Seriously. Anybody think about the impact this really has? The guys look for Craw to make something happen. He's a big part of the team and the future of the team.

This is why th 90's knicks meant "SO MUCH" to me.

These players are so mentally weak it makes me want to cry.

The teams back then(90's) would have stepped up and dedicated the season to the one injured.

I remember Mase, cried when Riley was yelling at him once during a game. He was very emotional. Remember this guy left the bench because of Riley going off on him too, Riles had to suspend him too. Also, when Ewing went down with his wrist injury Starks admitted he took it hard and had to fight back tears for the Big Fella. Crying about another teammates' injury is not a bad thing. It actually shows chemistry. I would have more concern if he would have laugh about it or was indifferent. See J Kidd, Mashburn and Jimmy Jackson about those reactions.

Wow Marb cried. Obviously the guy cares about winning. Now maybe this can put to rest the theory that basketball is just a "hobby" to him.

I don't agree with that conclusion. When Cancerbury starts saying all the right things, instead of all the wrong things, I'll agree with you. Wow, he cried. Probably because he's worried about the chance Steve Francis might get some extra minutes this season.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I laughed for a full minute when I read Marbury cried geez you would think Crawford was killed or something. The Knicks need to stop being drama queens plenty of teams in the NBA have been ravaged by injury and really up until the all-star break the Knicks had been pretty lucky in that regard.

It's not a theory. The words came directly from the dude's mouth.

um..maybe he felt bad??

because crawford is one of his closest friends on the team...and because he and crawford actually play pretty well together

I can understand Steph.
It is unfair what happened with Jamal. He deserves better.
But hay... live is unfair.
It also shows how hard Jamal played.

As per Steph... Jamal was the one to cover his deficiencies as a leader and regression as a player.
Jamal was there to cover up his body/patron IT blunders as a GM and coach
Not any more.
Truth is going to come up... You cannot help this by crying.
Steph need to step up. But can he mentally and physically? We’ll see.

Did Crawford die? Did he suffer a potentially career threatening injury like Livingston? Or did he just break his ankle and is out for 24 games but could be back for the playoffs?

Marbury missed most of the games down the stretch last season, where were the tears then?

I think "Hobby" was the wrong choice of words which Marbury is noted for. But in context, compared to the real world of jobs which hardworking teachers bring home 40-45,000 annually to teach Marburys kids, BB or any sport can be considered a "hobby". A hobby that pays extremely well, but a hobby or fantasy job nevertheless.

I think Marbury cried because he really wants to make the playoffs and realizes that without Crawford that just got alot harder. IT has gone to bat for these players and they really want to succeed for him. I see noting wrong with the reaction although it did give me pause when I first read it.

I just want to know how long it is before we see the post titled "Stephon Marbury to be in the house on the next edition of "The Surreal Life".

Seriously, you can't make up 90% of the stuff that this guy has done in the past 2 seasons.

He shows emotion, he's a p#ssy. He chooses the tough-guy attitude, he's an ass-hole.

Oh no, he might smile! He can't win.

Marbury! We need you exactly even-tempered at all moments!

I actually like that show of compassion from Dinglebury and I am seriously thinking about not calling him Dinglebury anymore...till he does something again to change my mind.
