This team should have made a big difference by now, if it was in the cards. That's a fact with any team that has talent and works as a team. When's the last time we seen a Knicks team like that?
I'll never trust this' team again.

With Starbury at the helm, the stats will pile but the wins will not.

I really don't understand some of you guys. Steph is playing hurt and he always has played hurt for this team. I have more respect for giving us everything he has, this year when he's clearly hurting. The guy has been logging some heavy minutes, but you guys can't give him credit for playing as hard as he is, it's much better to go back to old cliches about how he used to play. That's not what he's been doing this season and you KNOW IT!!!

Quite frankly you make me sick to my stomach. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? Must it always be about taking a shot at a guy who is bustin his tail for this team? He's out there defending and hustling and doing everything he can to help this team win and some IDIOT like you wants to take pot shots at him. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Only someone who has ZERO respect for the game would do something like that.

Heck yeah this team still has a chance to make it. We WILL be getting Lee back and Nate won't be out forever. This team will eventually adjust to the changes and settledown. I think Isiah made a mistake with starting Malik and Jared. that lineup was just too strange and it took the team too long to get into any kind of rhythm. They aren't used to playing with that group. I don't know why he won't just let Frye start. They may have played poorly, but there's no quit in this team and for that i'm proud of this team. All year they've fought and haven't quit and that's what you want to see from your team.

Are you nixluva or Marbsluva, or may be Isiahluva?
Not everything which is good for Stephan or IT is good for the Knicks
I guess a lot of things which are good for them is a poison for the Knicks team

And it is not about "bustin his tail" but about helping the team to win
Pierce was not bustin his tail today he just won the game.
This what we need from Steph and how many points or assists he wil get means nothing.

We lost and so he is a loser as well as IT...

THIS IS NOT A PLAYOFF TEAM!

We've lost to Philly and Boston!

I don't expect many NY fans to feel the way I do about Steph, but i've defended him in the past and i'm not going to abandon him in this season which I feel he's shown so much. He's not a perfect player, but you've got to admire the way he's playing this year. His D has grown tremendously and his leadership of this team has grown. WHAT ELSE CAN WE ASK OF HIM? He's stepped up for most of this year. Sure he had a rough start, but did he give up on the season or the team? NO!!! He's still out there fighting to help this team win and get in the playoffs.

This teams failures can't be laid at his feet. For the most part he's been THE most dependable player we've had and that's not a good thing. Now I can forsee this team having guys like Curry and Lee who will also be dependable players giving a solid performance every night. THAT is what has been missing for the most part. Now we actually have other guys who can hold up their end of the bargain and we didn't get that from the players we had before. Steph is stepping up and has been for a while. The ONLY thing that has slowed him down has been his Knees. So let's give him some credit for a change.

I think Steph is the best guard a coach can have. We should all be so lucky to have such a phenominal player. I'd give him MVP, if it were up to me.
I'll never trust this' team again.

What's with all the jokes tonight? No one is saying he's the greatest player in the world, but he's giving us everything he's got and has been for a while. Any fan of this team should be appreciative of a guy playing hard and long, when he's already got health problems. If you can't appreciate that I don't know what to say.

I actually think this team would win more consistently if steph were allowed to be a scorer as much as he wants. Im not joking either. but it probably won't happen so nevermind.

It is somehow sad that for Stephan to step up and start looking on himself in the mirror he should be pushed to the extremes of Booing of the MSG crowd, scares of careers ending knee surgery, league and analyst writing him off the books...
What he was thinking when he was healthy, dominating opposition and being a thread in every game? Why he showed no leadership, was a bad teammate, never try to get along with coaches and other players?
Bad times are bringing understanding that live is only one and the active live of an athlete running off too fast.
Good that he finally getting there but it can be too late

I agree. If at the beginning of the season someone said that the Knicks would be playing .500 ball, I think most people would have accepted that after a 23 win season. Well, the team is playing .500 ball and has been playing at that level for the past month. Yet, people are still down on the team. All we need is one or two good trades or signings to balance this roster out and with the continued improvement of our young players, this team will be in the playoffs next year no doubt. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
Trust the Process

I don't think it's too late. The guy is younger than Nash who is 33 or Kidd 34. Having Knee tendonitis isn't the worst thing you can have wrong with your knee. It's not good, but not the worst. Just ask H2O. If we had someone else who could run the show, he could take more time to rest it and get it healthy, but we don't have the luxury. What happened in the past is the past. He's doing what we need now and he should be able to help this team reach it's goals over the next couple of years or more. You can expect that the Knicks will look to limit his minutes more and more as he goes along or at least give him a break like last night and have him off the ball or someone else bring it up.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

PLAYOFFS! YOU SAID PLAYOFFS? don't think so.. looks like we're fighting for the 7th or 8th spot.

Here's the difference!
Maimi Heat 29 29 0.500: they are still the defending champs and they got SHAQ.

New Jersey 28 30 0.483 : they got Carter, Kidd and soon to be Jefferson

New York 27 33 0.450 :loses to teams like philly and boston, games they should be winning.

they are top 3 in the league in turnovers and do not have a star player like NJ and Miami that can consistently take over a game when needed.

actually I do agree wtih nixluva to some degree. I think stephon is under appreciated around here. he's a talented offensive player and he has really been trying his tail off to help the knicks win this season.
