I think if isiah uses the right combinations which he won't he give jefferies more minutes, frye more minutes, we will be much improved on the defensive end, everyone is acting like his 40% and 3 turnovers a game while playing no defense is irreplacible. Crawford will be missed in the final 8 minutes, we need to find someone to step up when the game is in the balance, thats his real strength as a player

something like that is very typical around here.

I'd like to see Balkman get some time at the 2. Its not like Balkmans 3pt % is that much worse than Crawford.

Seriously i think everyone is really putting to much faith in the guy, he is a great clutch player and perhaps our most important player in the last five minutes, he can carry the team when he gets hot, but it happens 50% of the time, and when he is off all he does is chuck and never goes to the basket, he plays the worst defense of all the guards and small fowards, so i believe he is a loss but not the magnitude that everyone is making him out to be.

We are acting like we are a good team, we are under .500 and scoring isn't the problem, taking care of the ball and playing better defense will help us win more games.

With a linup of

Curry 35 Frye 20
Lee 40 Rose 10
Balkman 20-25 Jefferies 10
Q 30 Nate 25
Marbury 30 Collins 15

I think you will see a drastic defensive improvement, if you would just go with a high energy team, you can hide turnovers with rebounding and hustle something balkman, nate, and lee with provide, acting like crawford is the second coming of jesus christ is typical. Chances are we were going to fall short of the playoffs, we know what crawford is as a player a streaky shooter that either gets going or kills you, to say otherwise is ignorant. I would like to see if isiah wasted two picks on nate and collins or if they can contribute. I hear all this talk about this team having a bright future, this is the only way to find out

Arenas has pretty much been the man on his teams for the past few years, & he's averaged 37 mpg over his career while just dishing out 5.5 assists as a PG... Jamal has averaged 4 assists in 30 mpg primarily as a SG... as i've always said, i think if you gave Jamal the reigns to take over a team, he's capable of being an Allstar in this league... both guys are bombers pretty much, but Jamal has shown a better ability to make plays off the dribble than Arenas has IMO... Arenas is a better rebounder, i'll give him that.
