You guys are bugging, Fernandez looks athletic and skilled or he wouldn't be able to put down those reverse alley-oops. He can jump.

It looks like he has a nice shot too.

I don't know if he can be a big-time NBA player, but I bet he can score pretty well in the NBA.

TMS, the thing is, every other team needs a shotblocker too. It's definitely a universal need, therefore, at pick 19, there wont be a shotblocker available.

right now he's projected early 2nd round... he can move up to late 1st round if he has good workouts... i think he'll be there for the taking when it's our turn to pick.

Sean Williams is a wonderful talent but have you seen the list of crap this guy has gotten in trouble for? And this is only in college, imagine what happens to him when he comes to New York. This guy has Eddie Griffen written all over him.

Has a good deal of potential ...

Weakness: Off the court behavior got him repeatedly suspended and ultimately kicked off the BC team halfway through his junior season ... His work ethic and commitment to basketball are very much in question, and his dismissal surely cost his draft stock consideerably ... Doesn’t always play the game with intensity often it’s not uncommon for him to get out worked by players with lesser talent … Despite having all the physical tools, Williams is not a good out of position rebounder due to his unwillingness to hustle … Suffers from a lack of focus, at times it doesn’t seem like he is interested in playing

We don't need anymore of that.

Strengths: The best shot blocker to come along in years ... Has the ability to alter any shot in the lane, making him a huge defensive presence ... Length is unbelievable. His 7-5 wingspan and defensive mindset make him a menace to opposing shooters. Loves to block jump shooters on the perimeter ... Gets his fair share of steals as well ... Extremely high vertical leap ... Quickness is outstanding defensively... Has finally developed a semblance of an offensive game... Developing into a decent free throw shooter with an improvement from 51% as a sophomore to mid 70s so far this season... Knows his role in the offense ... Good at getting points on put-backs and dunks ... Defends well man to man as well as on help ... Strong on the boards offensively and defensively ...

but we sure as hell could use some more of that.

Yeah, but if he has the piss poor work ethic, and lacks desire, passion and intensity, then his name might as well be Jerome James. We don't need anymore players like this. We need serious serious bball players.

that doesn't sound like a guy who doesn't want to give any effort on the floor to me... he sounds like a typical immature kid coming into the NBA from the inner city who's gotten in trouble w/the wrong crowd to me... this is why we need to bring in some positive role model type players to teach these young kids how to play the game & approach the sport the right way... we can't have guys like Steve Francis & Stephon Marbury setting the example... sure, both have tried to be professional this season, but you need some guys like LJ, Oakley, Ewing... guys who aren't afraid to take accountability for themselves & for the way their team plays, & who are always working their butts off in practice & during the offseason to improve their games... a kid like Sean Williams could benefit from having guys like that around to model themselves after... so could Eddy Curry for that matter.

Afflalo, Tucker, Young and Byers caught my eye. I have to do more research on them though.

Jeff Green................ knicks need alot of things, go for the player that gives us the most.
Jeff Green:
get's assist
Can Shoot
Plays D
Rebounds
Get's Blocks

He's what we were hoping the Small Forward from Memphis Williams wouls be.

Corey Brewer would be ideal, but he'll be gone by the top 12/15. I'd love to get Rush. Remember Isiah's scouting trips to Spain a few years back? I wonder if he's a Rudy fan? But that kid seems like he's in the draft every year and never actually stays in it.

Anji, I like Jeff Green alot too, he's a very solid all-around basketball player. He does it all, including defense.

Heres what you like to see too, although he had a subpar 1st round game last year against North Iowa(he laid a total egg) he came back with
Ohio State: 19pts,8rebs,6assts
Florida: 15pts,6rebs,4asts,2stls

He showed up in the big games, same deal with the Big East tournament. He'd be PERFECT for us to take with the Bulls pick this year, I just hope he comes out.

GTown is on CBS right now. He does every thing, but hit a three consistently but he can shoot. He's a Junior so I thnk he would come out.

And the Guard they have is preety good to. I forget if it's sapp or summers.

I want to get Corey Brewer. He is a great kid, long, will be a top defender in this league and is unselfish. I wish we could get Al horford but he will be gone early

how about billy donovan?

I like them both, their both very nice underclassman. Sapp is the guard, he's got a nice shooting game. His 3pt shot was terribly off the first half of the season but since he's really corrected it and he's shooting it at a pretty clip.

I like Summers though man, he looks like a Jeff Green clone to me and he's only a freshman.
