maybe he'll be better next year? I hope so because he's untradeable and he's going to be here for 4 more years.

i would happily get rid of every f'g player on this team except for lee and balkman.

Yes, but add Mardy and Q to that list.

Q can go, he's not going to get any healthier. If he doesn't go soon, he will end up being bought out at some point. Mostly likely he is untradable though.

I think jeffries could turn it around next year but not this year

turn it around? into what? he is doing exactly the same as he does every year. i don't know what everyone expects from him.

Totally agree. I made a thread about him a few weeks ago. Jeffries is who he is. His impact would be more noticable with better players around him. similar to Malik Rose. He looked so much better in a Spurs uniform yet, hes doing similar things here but looks like he's regressed.

Put JJ2 on the Mavs and he'd look alot better because there games are more meaningfull and go down to the wire. JJ2's long arnms can save a possesion or 2 for a good team which would stand out in a close game but wouldn't mean anything to us or go unnoticed if we are getting blown out.

With that said, Isiah needs to chalk up his losses and bury JJ2 on the bench and let Balk get the minutes or at least until the talent is upgraded. Balk is far more effective for this team than JJ2 is.

Its unreal how bad isiah has done......

Franchise player ?
Defender ?
Shooter ?
Rebounder (Lee)
Facilitator ?
Leader ?

He has zero idea how to build, he is in love with combo guards that can't shoot, defend or take care of the ball, is it that hard to just get a guard that will play defense, i would have taken anthony johnson for a second round pick, just someone that is steady that didn't have their position handed to them in the nba would make a huge differnce for this bunch.....

I am willing to bet you could sign someone in the dleague that plays good defense for peanuts and has zero offensive game....god isiah is terrible, and considering he blames the loss to philly on the poor play of the bench the other night, without looking at the combination of players he inserted on reinforces the fact that he is a loser that deserves to be fired.....

Is anyone actually watching this year, we have zero discipline, we give away the ball, can't defend, get blown out on a regular basis, have zero gameplan, pick up technicals faster than Rasheed Wallace, and have no idea about fundamentals.

Lee and Balkman are really the only keepers

I think all this is just too hasty. Like others have said, Q went thru a similar poor season last year. Both Frye and Jeffries can and IMO will eventually get it together. It may not be this year, but I think they have skills which can benefit a team. The longer this group is together and allowed to develop, I think better results will come. We have some time to allow that to happen. One season is not enough to make a total judgement on these guys.

I do think that we need to see more of Balkman and Collins tho. No more Jerome or Malik and less of Francis. If I'm Isiah i don't hesistate to put Collins in from here on. Like Balkman he's shown that he can defend and he doesn't look scared anymore. The entire reason we drafted Balkman and Collins was their defense, so why not make more use of them. This is all on Isiah.

"The way they came in the game, and what didn't happen and the position it put us in . . . I was upset with that whole second unit and the way they responded to that situation," Thomas said.

he gets all critical and coach-like with his 2nd unit guys (sans lee) but he never gets that way with his starters.

I have a question for you. assuming there is no major or particular amount of injuries next season. would you be frustrated if this team won essentially the same number of games next season as they did this season? I just want to get an idea of exactly how far your support of Isiah goes.

Maybe not publicly, but he pulled Marbs from games a few times earlier this season.

If he were a good coach he would not get into the group of players that isn't supposed to carry the team....

How about Getting on....

Tits!
Are you going to rebound, blk a shot, play any ****ing defense, lose 20 pounds?

Crawford

Serioulsy I haven't seen you guard anyone all season, and must you cross someone over from 20 fall away off balance and ignite the break

Frye
Drop your pants do you have any balls? Seriously mix it up grab a rebound and earn your points, because you can't guard anyone, it might be nice to grab 10 rebounds once, just once

Himself
Maybe I should play the one guy that always get a big rebound, blks a shot, throws it down and changes the game when he plays......Wait i didn't pay him 5 million, so lets go with the guy that can't dunk, has weak hands doesn't do anything and is a liablity...

Maybe we should practice double teaming Eddy, so he has an idea what to do when it happens in a game?

Lee your never going to start, if you weren't white you would be just another rebounded, you play with to much intensity, and i have to showcase James to make myself look better, if i played you 40 minutes a night we would win more games, we are 6-2 when we do that but i have to make sure you win the sixth man, so when we miss the playoffs in a terrible conference with a rash of injuries to every star on other teams i can tell Dolan we have made progress

To you, what will Jeffries be doing when he gets it together? To me, he is together now, hes just nothing special.

There are players who make others better...
There are players who need this kind players around to be OK.
Jeffries, Big Turd, Roze are players from the second group.
Without guys like Dankin, Allan, Arenas this 3 became nothing.
We have nobody to help the situation...
Sorry gs...

Q also went through a host of very difficult personal issues last season (murder of his brother & death of his father), as well as the bad back & knees... what's Jefferies' excuse? that wrist injury shouldn't be preventing him from playing any defense... i mean he was BILLED as a good defender... what happened?

To tell you the truth most Wiz fans wanted him gone last season. They saw him as a disruption on the court, obviously no offense, poor decision making. I don't know where he got this defense label(possibly because he is oversized for the position he plays) but most Wiz fans felt he lacked on D and were glad as his minutes diminished.
