What I said was that you don't know after one loss that this team won't eventually win enough to get out of the lottery. You guys seem to forget that this team is only 3 games back at this point. It's not impossible for this team to catch the teams ahead of them. Who are we talking about? Orlando, NJ and Miami? Those teams aren't locks to play well the rest of the way either.
MS is basically saying we should just give up and if you other fools wanna go along with that then I don't know what to say about you're thinking process. Who gives up at this point when the team is still in contention? You guys are way off on this one. It's not even close to time to start thinking about quitting on this season or this team. What would you all be saying if they had won last night and were now 2 games out of a playoff spot? WHAT A JOKE!
All season the Knicks have done this- looked impressive, had a bad loss, showed signs of getting it, and still they don't.
Fool me once...
This isn't about being in contention and giving up.
Its about realism, and facing the reality of this team.
If there is a trade that gets us picks, younger or moves an ugly contract for better ones, we should pursue it.
Its about the future, because this team isn't going anywhere this year.
